First time there today. The woman behind the counter was very nice and attentive. If I had time to stay and dine in I would have, unfortunately I had a meeting to make. To eat in a quint dinner, overlooking the lake. What a treat. The food was even better. Next time I’m in the area I’ll be sure to have time to dine in. Hats off to the chef and to the Woman who took care of us.

First time there. Best dougnuts!!!! Nice simple place that has remained the same. Love the atmosphere and the doughnuts! I am from NJ, nit I will be making a little day trip to visit them again. Just a reminder it is a cash only place.
This place can't be beat for BREAKFASTS. Beyond that the menu becomes surprisingly ordinary. A grilled chicken sandwich is served with spare fixins and was dry. The fries were burnt. I didn't know you could burn french fries. Here's an idea: order breakfast as your dinner meal. Donuts are a specialty here.
Average Dinner, very small decent food, friendly staff , not cheap, NO bathrooms and doesn't accept credit cards ( NOT POSTED EITHER )its just off the merrit parkway. Excellent donuts
I went to the Lakeside Diner with a few family friends the other day and was not disappointed. Although the diner can only house around 20 people sitting down at once, the view of the lake is beautiful. The food is nothing particularly special, but it was pretty good. They have large portions which filled me up very quickly. I didn't get to try their lakeside donut, because I just coudn't eat anymore. My friend said the donuts were delicious though. We weren't there for the food however, more so for the experience, which was great. The staff were great, and so was the frozen outlook.
The food was amazing! Pancakes were light airy and fluffy with the butter melting on top. I had the banana. Service was great also! Nice view of the lake. It is small ish but the seating was comfortable. The place is cash only but theres an ATM at the Carvel next door.
The fresh made donuts are amazing! I have only tried their donuts so far, can't wait to go back to try other items on their menu.
Great people, great cinnamon donuts warm out of the oven, I lost my wallet in the parking lot and the owners got it back to me because somebody had turned it in fully intact great people great atmosphere you feel like you're getting breakfast cooked by relatives
