Had lunch here recently with my coworkers and was assured that this is the best, most authentic Haitian food you can find in the area.Everything tasted fresh, had a nice kick to it, and the interior of the restaurant was lovely as seen in my pictures. The creole spaghetti had a nice heat to it and I loved the subtle haddock flavor that was woven throughout it.A great place to go!
Went to brunch here early. Place was empty when we first arrived, but by the time we left, it was packed. The food & drinks are delicious! We both had the chicken & waffles. The chicken was THE best fried chicken! I like light, airy waffles. These tasted good, but they are a heavier texture than I like. Service was great too! Atmosphere is modern.
I went to La Perle with a friend who had eaten there several times and raved about how good the food is. We go inside and a waitress tells us to sit at any table that is set for 2 people. She comes by to hand us both napkins with silverware folded inside. I unfold my napkin and a cockroach comes running out. I jump up from my seat and me and my friend are both shocked and alarmed that this just happened. The waitress comes by and we show her the cockroach which is visibly still on the tablecloth. My friend and I end up leaving immediately.
I love that there is a Haitian Restaurant in Downtown Stamford that I can go right outside of NY to eat as well as, one I can recommend to others for staple Haitian meals along with ambiance and service. The food is delicious well cooked and seasoned. The food comes out just right .They have a great ambiance and it’s a beautiful restaurant. It’s my second time at the restaurant dining for both dinner and brunch .
Foods good, service is horrible. Waited forever to order our food. And now been waiting to order drinks for 30 mins. Went up to bar cause no waiter was coming to our table. Stood at the bar (that wasn't that busy) for 10 mins before giving up. They gotta step up their service.
Great selection of foods. Vegan friendly. The Conch Stew is amazing! The Pan Seared Salmon absolutely perfect!
Nice restaurant in stamford CT. Check out for a good dish.
The food was delicious. The service was amazing. The DJ played really good music as well. The atmosphere is beautiful and felt just as beautiful. For any parent who would need to change a diaper, changing stations are not provided in this location and there is no space or place to change an infant/toddler. Aside from that, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be going again.
I have been looking for an authentic Haitian restaurant and a nice looking environment. Well this was definitely it. However, they can improve on service by being more attentive. Nice staff but not ready and available for details. Overall, experience was good.
A haitian restaurant right here in Stamford. I went there and I can tell you, there's no regrets. I had the "Griot" fried pork, with "Bannann Peze" tostones or fried green plaintain with "Riz Kole" rice and beans...that rice was so good. The meat was juicy and added the pikliz on top of it brings another level of taste. If you happen to be in the area, do not hesitate to stop there.
