Today was my first visit and I had the pleasure of placing my order with Amiel (hope I spelled it right)! Let me just say his patience and friendliness drew me in (my little one was in a grouchy mood and took a long time deciding what he wanted). Amiel explained our options and made recommendations with a smile and calming voice. Needless to say, we loved our order and will be back. Customer service was amazing!p.s. Amiel has the most gorgeous melanated skin and an inviting smile! Just in case he gets this!

they screwed up my order. which happens. the server apologized and took responsibility, but after waiting 45 minutes for a breakfast sandwich, that was not enough. in addition, the croissant was old, the eggs seem pre-made and then reheated, and $1 extra for bacon which was not very crispy or good. the space is nice, but the food is not good. the coffee was fine. perhaps a free pastry may have soothed me over (it has in the past)... perhaps not...

I came to meet a friend with my two year old and he told me that the play area was closing soon for a private event so when we arrived we went straight to the play area so my daughter could get 5 minutes of play time with my friends son before they closed. I was going to let her play for 5 mins and then order coffee and food. 30 seconds after we get bombarded by the staff insisting that we have to pay to be on the play area even though there was only 5 mins left before they closed it. So they essentially wanted us to waste 3 minutes paying and pay full price for two minutes of play time. The staff was incredibly rude and asked us to leave the play area instead of doing the right thing and asking us to pay once we order. They didn’t even ask if we wanted to place an order. This is not how you run a family establishment and the owners should seriously think twice about how they run their business and instruct their employees. The rude staff member said that they were given those instructions by the owner.

We visit this town once a year for family. This little shop is newer to us, I found it with the promise there was a place for the kids to play.First off, where they cater to kids, they don't compromise on the coffee. I had a cappuccino, it was frothy, strong but also sweet. The drip coffee was also excellent. Cheese bread and the croissant were standard staples and really hit the spot.Overall, a great place to bring the kids and not have to worry about them being too loud. The bonus is that the coffee shop executes on every food and drink item.5/5 will be back!

I am a frequent customer of Honey Joe's and usually love it, but the last few times that I have gone have not been too great. Just a few weeks ago I ordered an avocado toast, I asked the employee behind the register if I could get my toast without sunflower seeds as I do not usually eat sunflower seeds. They told me that Honey Joe's does not do special orders so that wasn't an option. I though this was weird as I work in the food business and we never deny such a small request to our customers. I think the chef heard my request because he brought out my toast and gave me the sunflower seeds on the side which I really appreciated. I went back a few days later and there was a new employee behind the register. I told this employee that I know that they do not do special orders but I was hoping to get my toast without seeds, he told me that they do indeed do special orders and that the other employee shouldn't have told me that they don't. Just this morning I went in and ordered another avocado toast, it came with a very small amount of balsamic so I went to ask the employee behind the register if I could get some more balsamic on the side. The employee brought me the balsamic but told me that they do not usually do that, so me getting the extra balsamic is a one time thing only. I thought this was weird again. I love the food and the drinks there, but have had some pretty odd interactions with the employees. If this continues then I may have to take my business elsewhere.

This place isn’t great. We came on a Saturday and it was super overcrowded. They weren’t limiting the numbers of people in the play area which was small to begin with. The service is also painfully slow if you order food which doesn’t work well with a toddler. Definitely not worth the drive or the price you have to pay for parking

Our family enjoys coming here. Really good coffee, sometimes they get quite busy, but the staff is friendly and accommodating.

Nice indoor playground attached to the coffee shop. Great idea for cold winter days

Soooo good!

We love coming here and being welcomed by friendly faces. The play area is always clean and the food is always great! Plus it’s a great place to bring small kiddos in colder weather months.
