Took my spouse and daughter in law for an evening supper. While the ambience was nice the food was terrible. My daughter in law ordered the sammis , a chicken parm slider. It was mush. My spouse ordered the lasagna and is appeared to be cut out from a frozen pan . It was served lukewarm on the outside and cold in the middle !. We could have done just a well purchasing from a frozen food store. Very disappointed.
Love their food fantastic atmosphere literally came at the right time to enjoy the live music of Matt Fernandez. Highly recommend. BTW I love the Parpadelle ?
Really good pizza & great service. Drinks could be a bit stronger, both tasted water down. Overall, recommended.
Place is kind of a rip off. Why is it so expensive? The food quality doesn’t deliver on price. Not terrible just not $21 12” pizza or $9 cup of ice cream. Staff is very friendly and chill. Good atmosphere just not the bang for your buck.
I was so amazed at the service yesterday at the Fortina in Stamford! When I clumsily knocked down my pizza on the floor (which only had 3 slices left) the manager came back with a brand new hot pizza, even when I said I didn't need one. How sweet! Love and food and love the service, highly recommend for pizza lovers.
Unsure how this place has so many good reviews/how much influencers promote it. The food was sub par, the apps (garlic bread and salad) were good but the main courses were undercooked (pizza) and salty (pasta dish). I would go to one of the local Italian places over this place any day. Not only did we leave feeling sick, the bus boy dropped one of the candles on my leg and got the wax all over my shoes and pants. I did not receive any kind of apology from management for this.
Unfortunately, we were so unimpressed with the food and drinks here. They charge $14 a margarita that is done in 4 sips and has no detection of any alcohol whatsoever. Like, none. Secondly, the pasta was hard. Like, undercooked and hard. The sauce was alright at best. They made chicken parm with a chicken thigh?! It actually had a bone in it…and the eggplant rollatini tasted like you could get a frozen one at the supermarket and have a better meal. The wait staff was so nice and pleasant, and the ambiance was a little confusing but not bad. I’m Italian, and this was not Italian food.
Don't order take out. Always issues. Food is fine
The food was great, but it's very very pricey. Portions are fairly small. However, excellent food.
Place is beautiful but food could be much better. Ceasar salad with no taste chicken with no salt and pasta & ceci soup very acid tasting only tomates.
