We have ordered chicken biryani’s. Chicken pieces are not marinated well, they are bland in taste. Otherwise the mix of spices is good and biryani is tasty. May be marinating chicken for few hours would make chicken pieces more tasty.

Affable people which well accommodated our party of four. Our order came at a great temperature and it was tender and delicious. I recommend this place for nice tasty food.Outdoor seating: No

I love the food here ? Everthing was on point.. It's designed like a food shack in India ?? and I love it..

came here randomly because I was in the area. when you walk in the place is rather small but still well decorated and the tables are pre-set. they were not busy with dine-in at all but the take out was busy. the food was good over all and fairly priced. however I was just not pleased that the water bottles on the tables must not be properly attended to. I'm assuming they just leave them there until they are used because my glass water bottle on the table looked like it had mold on the inside and I felt sick to my stomach when I saw it. like it had just been sitting there for weeks. if they are drained and run through a dish machine at the end of every night, that surly would not happen to the rim. the rubber part was gross on both sides. I let the server know and she did remove it and gave me sparkling from a can on the house. but I can only imagine if the other bottles had the same situation going on. just not ideal at all

I travel for work and have been here before 3 years ago before all the Covid shutdowns. When I came back this year I was so happy to see they survived Covid. This place has some of the best Indian food I have ever had. Staff is friendly and attentive. The food is amazing. Different spice levels. Also a BYOB. Wish I lived closer so I could come more often. But definitely a go to spot when I am in town.

Great casusal Dhaba dining experience but delightfully restaurant style flavors. Reasonably priced and great service. We had an attentive sever and had casual conversation with the owner Tarun, who has several other restaurants in the CT MA area. We ordered Chicken Tikka. Great tandoor flavors, smoke and charred but still tender inside. Amritsari fish was lovely with crispy outside and mosit fish inside. Just loved the the byod policy. We paired it with a lovely bourbon. Bhel puri was cruchy and with lovely spices. Main course had comfort makhani daal and butter chicken which had the tangy kick. Garlic naan, laccha parantha was warm and paired well with curries. Definitely recommend for both dine in and take out. Great place to visit when i am back in town from bay area.

We got the lamb biryani, goat biryani, okra, naan, paratha, tandoori chicken, daal, papadams and a couple of the desserts. The positives are that the desserts are like nothing I tasted before and really delicious. The okra was also amazing, it's so hard to find good okra these days! The daal was really good, super flavorful and smooth. And the papadams were great too. Both of the biryanis were good in flavor but extremely oily, not like any biryani I've ever eaten. They gave me really bad acid reflux because of the excessive oil. I put a paper towel on my plate to absorb some of the oil, you'll see in the pic attached. Disappointed because we spent $$$ money and it was a treat. If we do come back we'll try the curries or the other items customers liked.Edit: That being said I appreciate the response from the restaurant and I raised my review to 4 stars because you responded very kindly and I appreciate that.

We were driving down from Massachusetts to NJ - home. But decided to stop by here. Thank god that we did. Because this was hands down THE MOST AUTHENTIC Indian food I have had in the United States. For appetizers, got pani poori. The water was really good!!! The gol gappas were fresh. Very tasty appetizer. For mains, I got aloo-pyaaz parantha. Which came with a side of yogurt, onions-chili, aloo sabzi and pickles. The dish really came together with all the little details. (Ended up getting another order of this to go. )Also, got Chicken Biryani. Came with a side of yogurt as well. This was also really good too.I wish lived close by to come to this place regularly. But will definitely will be coming to this place again. Also, shoutout to the staff. Really nice and friendly.

I gave 4 stars, because I want to give some advice. The man who works there is very considerate and helpful, but something wrong has happened to the Chana Masala. It used to be very good, It was more garlicy and tomatoey and had a red color, now it is a dark brown color and tastes like garam masala -- I recommend you guys go back to using the old recipe because it was very tasty!

A must visit for North Indian dishes .. Authentic sarson ka saag and maake di roti
