Family get-together

Love the Jazz artists decor and music that set the tone. I understand they sometimes have live music. Food was good. I had spring mix salad with pears, gorgonzola, cranberries, steak and balsamic vinegarette. Come visit.

We returned to Coalhouse for the first time in 6 months. We made reservations for 2 and when we arrived the hostess told us that a table for 2 was not available in the main dining room where live music was to start soon. We've been to Coalhouse 50-60 times in the past 10 years and occasionally are asked to sit in the front area and decline and ask to wait for the main room. This time the hostess quickly pulled a table for 2 away from a table of 8 and told us that we could sit there (in the middle of the aisle. There were at least 2 other tables for 4 available but we moved our table out of aisle and enjoyed the remainder of our evening. The wait staff was excellent suggesting a very good beer and we had our usual great pizzas. The music was also enjoyable. We look forward to sitting outside as the weather permits.

We had brunch, limited selection but everything was good. Service was extremely slow and server only came to take our order and bring check. She never checked in on us , I really wanted another cocktail but by the time she returned we were finished with our meals

excellent place to enjoy with friends and family. It has a very familiar restaurant part, the decoration is spectacular. and the other room that is the bar. good attention the pizzas are very good and the best you have more than 100 options in beers to choose from

Great place to eat with friends. The staff are friendly, efficient & attentive without being annoying. We had pizza & salad and both were really good. Salad dressing is very flavorful. We definately will return.

There was an issue with my order and I asked to speak to the manager. The wait staff (2 individuals) made every reasonable attempt to try to get the manager to talk with me (2pm on a Sunday and the place was fairly quiet). He was at the bar they said, and after about 10 more mins of waiting they said he stepped out with no indication of when he may return . I left without my food or paying for my order, went to John the Baker down the street instead. 5 stars there. Coalhouse, I hope an owner is reading this, your management is failing you. F

Excellent pizzas and beer selection. Great band playing. Must have a reservation.

Our server was excellent. From helping us make selections to his engaging and infectious positive energy. We had a wonderful first experience at Coal House and will be back.

Tons of selections and a creative menu. Really enjoyed the choices on the beer list and there were unique cocktails. Jalapeno honey brussels sprouts were tremendous.
