Excellent! The decor is beautiful the food was delicious! Stuffed cabbage was excellent my wife had the liver she loved it! Also the salads were great and the bread was awesome! Iâm going to get bread from there next time i do burgers on the grill! Canât wait to go back!
Nice to try Albanian food. Went with six people, so tried a variety of dishes. Large portions, so pace yourself! Best apps were the burek and mantia (both stuffed dumplings), red pepper dip so-so, cheesy pepper dip tasty, feta good. Fresh baked bread/pita served with apps excellent. For mains, the clear favorite was the Qebapa (veal sausages), which also comes in the mixed grill. No one liked the hot-dog like sausage on the mixed grill. Stuffed pepper very good but did not detect a lot of meat in it, seemed to be mostly rice. Cheese-stuffed veal was great. We were too full for dessert, had leftovers to take home. Good value! For us the main problem was that there was live music (Sat night), which was waaaaaay too loud. We really had to shout to hear each other. Happy when the guys took a break.
Ellie is a superior mixologist and she made excellent recommendations for dinner. Plus, the gentleman who tends bar has a creative flair capable of creating whatever you crave! Last, their breads are heavenly.
The decor is amazing and the service and drinks great! We loved some food choices but only liked others. We should have spent more time asking questions because the food is interesting and not typical. The veal dumplings in the clay pot were amazing!
Best place
My wife and I enjoyed the food here. Neither of us had Albanian food before so this was a treat. What really impressed us was the interior of the place. It had an old world charm that is distinctly out of place in Stamford. I definitely recommend checking it out
