The food is phenomenal. Authentic, the wife from Jalisco makes the world famous birria tacos and they are addictive especially with the special homemade hot salsa sauce. The couple working there are so sweet and passionate and really care if you enjoy their homemade food. They are kind and funny and lovely, very attentive and curious about each of their customers. Run, don't walk for inexpensive food that is delicioso!! Will be back often, worth traveling for food and service. You heard it here!!!You're going to love it!
My wife and I stopped into this recently opened vest-pocket Mexican restaurant for lunch. The premises are clean and well maintained. Service is prompt and very friendly. The owners and staff are passionate about serving terrific food. Made with the freshest ingredients and cooked just right, our dishes were a day-brightening and tasty surprise.
Amazing service, very friendly staff. I have been many times and everything I have had has been fresh and excellent flavors. We have had most of their tacos and enchiladas. Great sauces. I highly recommend this restaurant.
My new favorite place for enchiladas!!! Cinco de Mayo personnel are friendly and cooked my dish to my preferred level of spice. Fast, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you want homemade, authentic cuisine.
What a great and unexpected find! We used Cinco de Mayo to cater a birthday party and they were a massive hit! Now we do Taco Tuesdays on the regular and the food is always fast, hot, and delicious. The birria, chorizo, and fajitas are our family's favorites.
This place has good quesadillas and tacos. Prices are reasonable for people in budget. They also have “Aguas Frescas”. If you don’t know what’s that, Google it. Cheers!
Nice and decent restaurant with friendly staff. Food is quite good. Nothing like out of the world, but give you a good feel of authentic Mexican food for the buck you pay. I've had better food in Stamford but wouldn't write off this one too. Would recommend this restaurant if you're craving for quick bites..

Always a wonderful experience when we visit Cinco De Mayo. And the hospitality is so welcoming! Looking forward to our next visit! The food is very on point. One of the best Mexican restaurants in Stamford..definitely a must try!
I found this hidden gem about two Weeks ago, and I’ve managed to come here several times. Every single time I’m impressed. The owners are incredibly friendly and very passionate about what they do. The tacos are tasty, but the flautas de Pollo and quesadillas, specifically the Quesabirra, are what I recommend. Oh and the desserts.... The flan is worth every penny. Please, please go and support them! They truly deserve the business.
