The service was not very good, we asked for pelegrino and when the server arrived the bottle was already opened I can't prove it but it was so flat I am doubtful it was actual pelegrino. The food took very long but it had good taste. Also they added (without asking) 18% tip for not great attention. Although food is good make sure you know what to expect.

Despite the great reviews, I was greatly disappointed in my experience here. Coming here for dinner during a chilly day, the restaurant went from warm to very, very cold quickly. I imagine the heater went out. The food was good, yet our waiter was rude. We felt rushed to finish our food, and once it was time to pay the bill, the waiter mistakenly billed the whole table as a whole and overcharged. He argued that the restaurant bills the table, not individuals. He avoided our table after this. Kindly another waiter was kind enough to fix the overcharge and bill us as wish. I wish they had named tags to be more helpful for waiters around you. The heat, of course, is uncontrollable with CT winter

After reading so many good reviews I finally tried this place, but Never have I been so disappointed with the service and food at a restaurant! My husband ordered the paella and we politely mentioned the paella was sweet and not what we expected. We were then rudely corrected that the menu states the paella has guaba, which makes it sweet. We had no idea. NEVER have we had a sweet paella. The waiter/manager didn’t even offer us something else on the menu, he simply took the plate back. When we got the check I asked if we could at least get a discount since we returned the plate and was told ‘It was our fault for ordering this and there was nothing he could do because seafood is expensive’!!!I couldn’t believe that was his response. And to mention I didn’t even complain about my food. I ordered the Trio Steak tostones and the steak was not cooked to how I had asked and the tostones were rock hard.On top of having to pay full price for a horrible meal we were also automatically charged 20% tip for horrible service.Overall a terrible experience. We will definitely not being going back or recommending to anyone!

It was a really fun experience. Went on New Year's Eve with my girlfriend. First things first, whoever took their pictures on Google deserves a raise. The place was considerably smaller and less unique than the pictures. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just a thing. The servers were wonderful, The food was very good, and the atmosphere is fun. Fun. It was a little overpriced for what it was but it's still led to a great night.

Great service! Right away, the server brought us some delicious salsa and plantains! He also brought out some awesome guacamole! ? We had the MEDIA NOCHE WRAP, which tasted like their version of a Cubano. It was pretty good but I wouldn’t likely get it again. Server was very friendly and attentive. Gorgeous patio ! ❤️

I have been wanting to come to Cilantro for years now and tonight was the night. It did not disappoint! The food was fabulous, very tasty and portions were a decent size. We had the cazuela and a steak with shrimp and tostones, we all enjoyed it very much and we definitely added it to places to come back to. The food took a bit long to get to us, we asked why and it was because there was only one cook at the moment. We actually felt really bad for them as they were all working extremely hard. At the end of the day we enjoyed a lot and then simply crossed the street to see the Air Supply concert at the Palace Theater. It all worked out perfectly.

Nice location, staff was very nice aswell.Drinks we’re good, food just average, the chicken was too salty, had to wait almost an hour to eat.Not sure I would come back for the food maybe just drinks next time.

I'm so glad I came to this place for dinner. I had the lobster soup and the mahi mahi, both were delicious! Great service! They also have a good wine list and a patio for outdoor seating. I would definitely recommend this place.

Made an Uber ears order and Received my order with no rice ! My dish was a seafood broth that was supposed to be accompanied with white rice. I truly was craving a combo like that to eat and unfortunately it was not with my order. I confirmed With the restaurant and they admitted to forgetting it and said there’s nothing they can do cause they will be closing. They didn’t offer any resolutions, refunds, or incentives for their error. The “manager” so he said he is, was very nonchalant. To be honest I felt he didn’t care. He also said “you can still eat it without the rice” as if it’s his business or right to even say that. I will never spend my coins at this business ever again. It’s a shame cause when I truly like a restaurant I tend to support a lot. Being new to the community, I now know where I have to stay away from.
