Staff was friendly and food was good. They had gluten free bread.

There is more to a good restaurant than good food. Cleanliness, good service, fair prices & ability to make someone want to come back. The customer is not always right, but upon reading the negative reviews I find the sarcasm of the owner's responses troubling. Sure having bugs is not something you can't always avoid, but trying to justify it is beyond belief. Adding in that there is a restaurant next door, as if the blame is to be shared? Complaints of inaccurate prices online could be avoided by having them clearly posted on the actual website of the restaurant & putting a disclaimer that prices on other sites may be wrong. A customer hogging a large table on a Sunday when they are alone is a legitimate inconvenience & the only negative review I agree with the owners. I have seen a very lax behavior on the staff's concern of masks, which makes one wonder if the kitchen is even more lax than the visible areas. The food isn't awful, but it is below average & somewhat higher priced for what you get. In response to your sarcastic response, to my review, exactly my point...you don't seem to have the finesse to rectify negative criticisms. As to your question of will I be returning to your establishment? That would be a definite NO.
I ordered food to go the other day. Their online menu was last updated 2013. Come to find out, one of the items listed, The Balboa, was no longer offered. I was told "We don't do roast beef any more". I tried the Chris Cavaliere and what read as chili tasted more like refried beans...and yet smelled like Alpo. I'm not sure if they changed the listed ingredients or not, but it was awful. They also neglected to include the sour cream and salsa. The Collins was decent, but nothing special. Prices are hard to find online & differ from the current ones. They should take better care of updating their website menu.
Stopped going here because of poor customer service. There’s plenty of diners around to go to instead. If you read the bad reviews, you’ll see the poor responses from the owners. Clearly they don’t care for their customers or their concerns. There was a bug in someone’s food and the owners responded with “it happens” and were condescending. Yikes.

there food is trash, i have ordered from here several times to see if they will redeem themselves and they never follow instructions, the food is always soggy and cold. and never follow notes. do not recommend. save your money because they do not improve their quality of food nor follow notes.
Ordered a waffle which tasted like a piece of cold cardboard. The coffee was weak and half the employees don't seem to understand what a mask mandate is.
What a wonderful family owned business! Great location, kid friendly atmosphere and the food is good. My favorite is the crunchy wrap and sweet potato fries.
Owners are friendly and accommodating. I noticed a user posted a review about not being able to take up a large table during prime hours. Shame on her for placing unneeded stress on a family owned business because of her own selfish and unreasonable request. Especially during these difficult times! People should be great full these businesses are staying open to offer good, comfort food to all during these stressful times; while risking their own health in doing so!
