Wifey had handpicked this place based on online reviews and I am happy to share my thoughts about this lovely and cozy bf place. Overall, the warmth and service at PepperPot far outweighs the taste of the food. Not saying that the taste is bad but the warmth in this place is contagious. Appeared to be a popular breakfast place for the locals as the place was full even on a weekday. Our server was fantastic, warm, and made us feel at home.We ordered the standard - pancakes, waffles, Mexican omelet.Taste for all three were standard, nothing out of the ordinary.
They have the best breakfast anywhere! Portion size is enough for two more meals. Great family friendly atmosphere.
Consistently great food. Service is quick especially considering the large number of people that come in their doors each day.
Best breakfast you will get in the area and it's not even close. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. The staff is among the hardest working I have ever seen. The waitresses are all super friendly and the hostess is a real sweetheart. They all do a terrific job.
Yummy breakfast and great pancakes if you are not a bid eater only as for one eggs are nice and fluffy
The hostess who was seating people is incredibly rude. A busy Sunday, you need to keep your cool. She lost it and lashed out at many patrons waiting. Many people left - no doubt from the wait and her rudeness. If you want to eat while stressed out, go there. If not, find some please else.
Sometimes a wait on Sunday morning because it's so popular, but always an awesome breakfast. Pancakes in particular are great. Worth waiting for!!
Today was my first experience and it was the epitome of average , like so mid , im upset i can't give it 2.5 stars . He's my break down;1. The triple decker is very misleading ; it is just a standard square bread sandwich with an extra slice of bread to separate the meat from the veggies. A traditional triple decker has your choice of protein on both levels.2. They don't follow directions , I had asked they put the bacon on the side so i could share it with my dog , but they didn't and i had to pick it off.3. They don't advertise or tell you they are cash only , but when you arrive they have a "conveniently" placed ATM with a pretty convenient transaction fee for using it.Now the staff is very friendly , from when they answered the phone to when i arrived , all very nice and pleasant but that is the only redeeming quality .. the flavor of my food was no better than your average highschool cafeteria , just satisfactory and the portions are small for the cost. In fact as i was eating my meal i ordered something else from another restaurant and I'm now enjoying that as i am typing this ..
Breakfast was good Is, Sunnyside up eggs home fries Italian toast. Coffee was watery It's not great but the coffee's always been Disappointing. Been coming here the last 25 years And now it's cash only which I didn't know but that's not a big deal, Which the coffee was better.
Staple in town since I was a child. Best bang for your buck breakfast, huge omelettes and great home fries. No frills here just good food and service.
