We went here for the first time 2 days ago and my baby girl wouldn’t shut up about it and we had to come back. What a gem this place is. Ice cream is about as good as it gets and the owner/staff is as friendly as can be. Highly recommended!

Went based on reviews.Had 2 very young grandkids who wanted more than one flavor in a cup. Was told in a very rude manor that a small cup was only one scoop and they could NOT split it up between two flavors and if that’s what we wanted we had to buy medium cups.So we bought one medium and one small for the two kids and we adults saved our money for another day.I’ve NEVER had an ice cream shop refuse such a simple request.
My fiancé and I go to Pat’s at least 2x a week. The staff there is super friendly and we’re always greeted with a smile. The atmosphere is cheery and every time I ask for extra cherry dip on my ice cream, they give me extra extra! Pat’s is a staple establishment that makes Southington the family friendly community that it is.

First of all, what a great name. Pat was great! Second, best shake I've ever had. I highly recommend, and my dog loved the dog treats as well. We will definitely be going back.
My son and I went in tonite, 10 minutes before closing. I have lived here for 2 years and how am I just finding this place?! Oh that’s right, it’s a hidden gem but now that we’ve found it, and also let the absolutely charming owner Pat, we will be regulars! The soft serve ice cream is TO DIE FOR!
