First time trying Nico's pizza and it will be the last. What pizzeria in CT cuts their pizza in squares? Definitely ruined my mood and appetite as soon as I opened the box. All the pictures show pie cut, so why would you destroy my pizza? Pizza crust was soggy, the toppings were good. What a shame. I also ordered a side of meatballs and sausage and even the meatballs were mushy. I couldn't even taste meat in the meatballs, all bread crumb and flavorless. Terrible.

I should have called and complained, but on December 13th 2021 I ordered delivery for a small pizza and 2 cannolis. When I opened up the pizza, the delivery guy had taken a bite out of my pizza. I had already waited an hour and didn't make a stink out of it, but it was the most bizarre thing that has ever happened to me. I will not be ordering from Nico's ever again unfortunately. Half of the filling from the cannolis had also leaked out of them, probably from sitting on top of the pizza box for half an hour in the delivery guys car.

I don't know how people complain about there food it's absolutely the greatest ?love there pizza and the service is just amazing;definitely highly recommended
This was some of the worst pizza that I’ve ever had- mushy, bland, and flavorless. The same thing goes for the appetizer sampler that we had with it. I’m not even sure how you can eat something with so many calories and have it be so tasteless. I will not be ordering food from here ever again.
The pizza was terrible. So much cheese it was like triple cheese and we had to pick it off. Garlic bread was mediocre. The Buffalo chicken wrap was unlike any Buffalo wrap we’ve ever had. Basically breaded chicken with a touch of sauce, literally worst wrap we have ever had. Super disappointed in the food tonight.
Wish I could give halves, because this is a 3 1/2 star pizza place, but not a 4. We were REALLY hungry by the time we arrived, but the flavor just wasn't there. The pie was cut into little square pieces, making eating it on the road harder than it should be. The pepperoni was tasty, but not as spicy as I like. (Personal issues, what can i say.) The server on the phone was pleasant and complete, but the pizza wasn't ready when they said it would be. (I don't know if we caught them in a rush or not, but that's just something to watch out for). The sauce was a paste that just didn't seem to have any spices added (I never got a taste of any oregano or even olive oil). The crust (on the edge squares..) was crispy, but had no real flavor to it. Using cornmeal as a base when cooking can add so much flavor - this pie's crust was all flour. The cheese would rate a middle of the road grade as well, the quantity was right, but the flavor was just plain. On the road and hungry, It's a good stop. To keep me as a regular customer or to make me drive past other places, I need some extra flavors.
