First of all the owner is the nicest man I think I have ever met. He’s so kind and really cares about his customers. I have had 4 different dishes from this establishment and was not disappointed at all. The shrimp mei fun is out of this world!!! And when he makes fried rice your pork, beef, chicken etc are huge pieces not tiny ones which is great. It’s a little pricey but food costs are going up everywhere. But you get what you pay for here definitely.

There are a lot of fast food Chinese places around everywhere. But this place is pretty special food wise. I ordered the triple combo which is boneless spare rib/chicken finger/teriyaki beef w/ pork fried rice and egg roll all in one. Its around $15.50, not too bad for the amount of food you get! the spare ribs was like eating candy, the beef was very tender and the chicken had a great batter on them. For what appears to be a hole-in-a-wall place, some great food comes out of it! Will defiantly hit it up again for a lunch break. #2 Chinese place on my list!

I live in Wethersfield but work in Plainville. Was craving Chinese one day so I googled for restaurants near me. I was so glad I picked this place. The food is as great as the owners personality! The house special fried rice has Jumbo shrimp- unlike anywhere else - and the rice was great! Their Chicken chow mein is fantastic and the egg rolls--honestly the first time I have ever gotten grease free in my life!. I would travel for his food even when not at work! . Not to mention the man is so appreciative of his customers it makes you want to give him your business.

Love the owner. Love the food. Might be slightly more then cheap, but this is Southington, not Waterbury. The owner is so polite.Dude is a 1 man show.He answers the phone and cooks your meal.Anyone giving this business less than 5 stars probably ordered bar food.Order a mans meal and you will get it with love. This guy is top notch and the food here is great.Spend $3 more then usual and you will taste the difference.Lueen Hop is the go-to Chinese food in the area unless you want to eat budget Chinese food.Food is food. But there is a difference.Come see this guy.You wont be disappointed.

I don't understand why ppl are rating 1 star. This is the BEST Chinese food I've ever had in CT. Larry is a one-man operation and he is so kind and gracious! Ppl who rate low probably got take-away through an app and didn't meet this wonderful man.As far as taste, the 1 star ppl are used to frozen, pre-made food. Larry makes everything fresh and from scratch! The rice is real fried rice, not the prepackaged yellow crud you usually get. It has chuncks of egg and pork like real fried rice. The sauces are clearly homemade and sweet and salty. The egg rolls are THE Juiciest and best tasting egg rolls I've ever had. You have to pickup your meal and eat them fresh! Pepper steak is so tender and perfect comfort food. My friend got hot and sour soup and said "I imagine if I had a Chinese grandma this is how she would make soup."Ignore 1 star comments. Be patient because when you're making food fresh it takes longer than 10 minutes. Give him at least half an hour to make food (how fast do you cook chinese food at home? Oh wait, you dont.) Talk with this wonderful man and be give him a generous tip for running this restauraunt by himself! Larry is a cornerstone of southington food outlets and operates his business with dignity and diligence. Be respectful and wear a mask for this kindhearted entrepreneur.Pepper steak, extra egg roll, general pso, hunan chicken. All very good choices

Not worth the $8 I spent, and NO KETCHUP?!I have small hands, yet you can still see how tiny this portion of food is. Never again.

Always fresh, huge chunks of chicken breast or steak in the Broccoli with Chicken or Pepper Steak. The freshest veggies of any Chinese spot and the owner is lovely. The Singapore Sling noodle dish is very unique and the shrimp was giant.

Worst chinese food I ever had. Very greasy, overcooked chicken fingers. They were so hard that was difficult to bite. Pork fried rice was white rice with little yellow coloring and pieces of cooked eggs and some fried pork pieces on one side of rice(not mixed with rice). Same with shrimp fried rice except few pieces of cooked shrimp to the side of rice

Too bad about the food. Very disappointed. Rice is old and hard, too much sauce, and egg roll was stale. Also charged me for 2 eggrolls and gave me only one. hard to find a descent Chinese place. The cook who was doing it all himself seems nice though. Not sure I’d go back.
