They are also incredibly cheap on giving cream cheese. The tubs they sell are by NO MEANS served full. "We go by weight" REALLY, just charge a little more and fill the tub. Who buys a 2/3rds tub of cream cheese for a dozen bagels????
So, I like to wait to give a review to make sure that I have assessed everything properly and fairly.Main and most important thing about any food place is the content itself, in this case, the bagels... They are A-1, top notch, New York style, excellent!I'm from the Midwest but I believe that anybody who does not sell a Salt Bagel can't be considered a legit Bagel purveyor. Fancy Bagels sells sSalt Bagels, which to me are one of the greatest food Delights on Earth.Also, the Everything bagel to me, is the Hallmark of a good bagel shop. Well, it is top-notch also. We've gotten lunch Bagel sandwiches there a few times, and the breakfast sandwiches, The BLT Bagel sandwiches, and the Nova Lox sandwich on an everything bagel, are scrumptious.The people have seen me a few times and are helpful, especially because I know a very good customer of theirs. Having scanned some of the 1 and 2 Star reviews, I will say that some of the people on the phone can be a little bit short or moderately rude, which in a certain sense gives the place a little bit of character but I understand how that could put people off. It's also bc they are super-busy, and have not time for chit-chat.All in all, this place is great and is a super find if you are looking for a real legit, New York style bagel. ??
Fancy has let me down bad lately. They took a turn for the worst and couldn’t get a single breakfast sandwich right for me. They are bad when they are not busy and worse when they very busy. Unless you want a sandwich that’s made wrong, do not go here
Great fresh bagels big selection had the bacon egg and cheese bagel delicious with coffee .Wait time a little long but worth it. ?
I absolutely love this place! I live in Michigan and every time we come into town to visit our kids and grandchild, I make it a point to order something from here every morning.I love the Sal’s special (Lox & Bagel).They have a variety of other breakfast sandwiches that are fantastic.Their sweet cinnamon bagels with some butter are spectacular.They also have a wide variety of coffees to choose.Last, but not least, the service is stupendous!Jacqui makes it a point to remember peoples names who are regulars … makes a person feel at home.Our Daughter, Son-in-Law, and Granddaughter are moving back to Michigan, so sadly, I am going to miss my visits to Fancy Bagel.
I was really excited to try this place, I don't live in town but have heard great things about the breakfast that the offer. I unfortunately didn't even get to order anything because I was so turned off from the RUDENESS from the girl at the front counter yesterday. I have never experienced such an attitude from a restaurant nor from a family owned establishment, There are ways to get your point across and due the lack of customer service training I'm assuming she has, she made her point in the worse ways possible. Clearly someone doesn't like there job. I would NEVER return to this establishment and its such a shame. Common courtesy can go along way. I never write reviews but this was really disgusting behavior.

I love a good bagel. This place is one of the top two in the state. My go to is everything with light cream cheese, NOT toasted. Bagels are always crispy! Their lunch and breakfast sandwiches on the various bagels are great!
I eat at this place everyday and this is the second time that I had to find a piece of hair in my food I will not be going any more I spoke to the lady at the front and brought it to her attention and her response is doesn’t happen often my thoughts are people should wear hair nets then they won’t happen at all I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t find long pieces of hair intertwined with my food ti be what I’m paying for I’m done
Bagels were pretty great, averagely priced. They load you up if you get cream cheese.Only complaint is that the bagels weren't cut straight.
