Food was alright. Servers were busy but friendly enough. Good place when nothing else is open 24 hours

I ordered the t-bone steak, mixed yellow squash and zucchini, and red skinned mashed potatoes. I asked for my steak to be extra rare and my guest ask for his steak to be medium. Both sticks arrived extremely well done, difficult to cut. The steaks were pretty much flavorless. Lacked any seasoning and we're wet as if they were steamed not grilled or pan fried.Despite they're not being another person in there - we were the only diners at the time which was 4:30 on a Thursday afternoon, service was incredibly slow. Upon arrival there was no one standing at the front and we had to wander around and actually go into the kitchen to find someone to seat us. The waiter was personable which I do appreciate. One other guest arrived during my time there so the waiter had two tables to tend to which resulted in a total of three guests and not once were we checked in on during the time we were eating and when we were ready to leave we had to hunt him down to request the check. Not the worst experience I've ever had, but it could have been so much better.

Drove here from Waterbury Connecticut for breakfast and ended up ordering salads for lunch to go for later this afternoon!!! Love this place!!

The lady working Sunday night (blonde hair, heavyset, older lady, terrible eye makeup) was extremely extremely rude. Took her 20 minutes to seat us, gave a terrible attitude when we were looking for her, because the hostess area was empty. She was huffing and puffing with a rude tone in the kitchen saying “there are people looking for me” as if we were an inconvenience. She wasn’t trying to be quiet either she clearly wanted us to know that she did not want us there. I said “yes sorry we are just waiting to be seated” We were standing there for so long simply just waiting to be SEATED AT A TABLE. She immediately started complaining that it was understaffed and she was the only person working. I wasn’t complaining to her nor did I criticize her. We tried to be nice and thanked her for trying and said we didn’t know it was understaffed but she was just a horrible person, seems really unhappy and just had a very horrible attitude. Right off the bat she told us it would be a very long time to get food, as if she wanted us to leave. Absolutely zero customer service skills. We ended up leaving without getting anything because the experience was so terrible. Everyone in the restaurant was staring at us as the waitress spoke to our party so rudely.

We were ignored when we came in for over 5 minutes. We had to get our own menu. No one came near us but wait staff were talking to one another and other customers. One waitress came after 10 minutes and got us water. The man who brought our dinner was polite but we had to ask for a place setting to eat. We enjoyed the food but were shocked by the lack of service. The stars are for the food and man who brought our dinner.

Once seated & ordered, we waited an hour and a half for our food. There were 2 servers, 1 server for each side of the building, with all the seats filled with customers, whom also had to answer phones, seat people who were waiting & check people out at the register. There should've been at least 2- 4 people working the floor that night. There was only 1 cook in the kitchen and no bussers.Fortunately, our server made a conscious effort to make sure she was attentive to us & to every one of her customers and that orders were correct. She was not overly-apologetic, but was enough that we understood it wasn't "her" fault that we had to wait forever for our food. Surprisingly, many customers just dealt with the long waits, too. Regardless, our meals still came out warm & delicious. When asked about the lack of staffing, our server replied that since COVID-19 arrived, "there are just alot more people working from home, for themselves and/or just don't want to put the effort into working anywhere....I'm not complaining; it's more hours for me."

Had a great breakfast - huge portions, stop here on our way to New York.

Well in my experience the staff was friendly but slow service and the place was empty. Also the appearance of the food was not so bad, but the taste of some dishes was not good. But the drinks like juices and smoothies delicious. If you ask me if I would go again, I would say that I would have to think about it.

This restaurant is the absolute worst restaurant in Southington! The service is horrible! Never came back to our table, we waited over an hour for our food and the waitress never came near us. Loudly complained when I stopped her to ask for another beverage! Loudly complained when after an hour asked for our meals. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT!

Food quality has gone way down...I know IT'S DENNYS you say...but the food here used to be decent. Our waitress was amazing, very attentive and cheerful. The only reason I give 2 stars.
