Excellent food, atmosphere and the chef was fantastic! We were a party of 7 with four adults, one 7 year old and two teens. We all enjoyed our food and the interaction with our chef. The other guests all seemed to be having a good time as well. This was our second time to this location and we would definitely recommend to friends. Thanks for another great dining experience!
I and my family enjoy the great dining vibe here. The food is amazing. They built a fabulous team to serve us.
Ordered food from this restaurant… sealed containers that were picked up… was told it was it was not their problem and to call Uber. After telling them I had photos/videos a manager got on the phone and told me once again… it is not their problem and to handle it with Uber.Staff was more concerned about the container it came in and stated “Oh I believe it” when I mentioned it has nothing to do with the container… it came out of the food.I always recommend this restaurant but due to this entire experience and the restaurant not taking responsibility shows me they do not take their food prep seriously nor do anything to correct the problem.
The food and the show were really good! Is a little up there in terms of cost. The kids had a lot of fun and we had a very nice time. The bathrooms were a bit gross and out of toilet paper; if they were clean I would have given them 4 stars…. How a restaurant takes care of their bathrooms says a lot about them.
Had a nice business lunch here with 6 others and everyone enjoyed their experience here. I ended up having the hibachi Shrimp and Lobster Tail combo and it was very good. My wife and I have had Wild Kanji many times in the past too and it has always been good. More often than not we end up getting take-out from them and having it back home because they are totally jammed during peak times, especially the weekend and you can't get anywhere near the place with all the crowds. You can order online through their website or call them for take-out. We have always had good food and a good experience here and can definitely recommend them.
I been here a few times and I enjoy my vistit everytime. They have a very cool fish pond in the middel of the resturant. If its your birthday they also blast a fun happy birthday song with disco light at hibachi. I typiclaly sit in the dinning area when I go here and I enjoy the food everytime. Some of the menue items that I enjoy are the chicken fried rice, calamari, and chicken tempura rolls.
Although we have visited this area a few times, this was our first time visiting Wild Kanji. We had originally planned to sit at a hibachi table and order hibachi, but in the end we opted for a booth and food from the a la carte menu. Service was friendly enough, and the food was served quickly. I wasn’t overly impressed with my bland Pad Thai, but my hubby‘s Thai basil chicken was delicious! Both meals were piping hot and large enough to take some home as leftovers. Note that they only serve chopsticks at first, so if you want any other utensils you may have to ask for them. The place was incredibly popular, even at 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon, with people coming and going for takeout as well as large group parties seated around the communal hibachi tables. I think next time we will try the hibachi!
Patience is a requisite if you choose to go on a Saturday night. It will start with parking and a reservation is highly recommended. Although our reservation was for 6:00pm we weren’t seated till 6:20pm but a look around would explain as each hibachi table seats 9 - 12 so a juggling act is required by the hostess to fill the tables. Our group of 7 was seated with a very sociable couple. Once seated the show starts with drink orders taken, meal selections and eventually the “mc”, Ian, who made balloon figures for the kids, juggled, took shots in willing mouths of veggies and sake. Cooking is an art combined with comedy and if take home is your desire you’ll have enough for dinner tomorrow. I wish we had this closer to us in Georgia but we’ll be back when we visit our grandkids in Milford!
The food is very good. I thought the service was great with the exception that no one came once the hibachi show was underway to check on drinks. However, as soon as I caught someone’s attention they did come right over and checked on what everyone at the table wanted. It was a good show, not outstanding, but fun. They use a house sauce for parts of the hibachi in addition to the regular soy sauce and teriyaki sauce. My son loved it, and I thought it was OK, but it did take me aback because we joined the table at the last minute and didn’t have a chance to discuss food allergies. They used a couple other seasoning mixtures in parts of the hibachi that again were fine but surprised me.The atmosphere is very nice. Everything appeared to be clean. The hibachi chef was very friendly.I would definitely say $$$ for the pricing because one child‘s hibachi with a single meat and the shrimp and scallop adult meal plus a California roll and a soda came to $75 including tax and tip.
I would absolutely recommend them what a wonderful place and the food was amazing the service was great thank you so much
