Delicious soft serve and hard scoop and all the extras you can think of putting on top!

Always wonderful to support a local business. Even better to support when they have delicious ice cream and abundant selections to choose from. Always friendly service, with owners that care about their customers. Glad to have them here in Shelton!

It was a hot summer day, my mom and I just started driving back from a long hike. When we drove right past the ice cream shop. Let me tell you, I've had some good cones, but the ice cream shop has to be some of the most delicious homemade ice cream I've had here in Connecticut. I got a classic vanilla ice cream cone, and it was just pure bliss. Love this place, if anyone likes ice cream, I highly reccomend giving this place a try. You will not be disappointed!

The ice cream is great, but even more so, I love the clientele here. People like this BUSSIN fella professing his passion for this BUSSIN ice cream just creates such a BUSSIN atmosphere. SHEEEEEEEEEEESH

If you live within walking distance of this ice cream shop, it may be worth stopping in; but you would be better off getting in your car and buying something at the local grocery store. We have not been to this shop since Covid started and will likely not return. The entire experience was lacking and we found nothing redeeming in this visit. The ice cream was of decent texture (not icy) but it was without flavor and lacking in any richness one associates with a high quality ice cream. It is frankly difficult to make a chocolate or coconut caramel ice cream that has so little flavor. The serving sizes were reasonable, but for what you get the ice cream was very overpriced IMHO. A large waffle cone and small sundae were over $15 - definitely not the place to take a family. Finally, service - perfunctory at best. A little emotion, a little enthusiasm, a greeting, smile, or a thank you would go a long way in making customers at least feel welcome. There are so many other options (some really, really good ones) close to here, that The Ice Cream Shoppe should be your dessert of last resort.

Besides the 2 ice cream shops nearby my home that only take cash, this small shop is my go to when it comes to ice cream. Whether it's in a cup, cone, a sundae, or even shakes or my personal favorite their "Storms" (which I was told by the employees is just their own version of McDonald's Mcflurries or Wendys Frostys) this shop has it all especially if your low on cash. Use your debit or credit, and the sky's the limit for this local shoppe! I'll definitely be going more and more this upcoming summer!

The best ice cream cake and friendliest staff. We get all of our family’s birthday cakes here. Love all of the variety and flexibility with regard to flavors and choices!! Thank you!

I love it but I was mad at my mom because she left out the st.Patrick day ice cream cups the one with light blue eyes:( I have been going here since I was 2 I love this place ????

The place is very clean inside and out. In addition to the many flavors of ice cream they have available, they also stock a freezer in the ordering area with a variety of frozen treats. My wife loves it. I give credit to the young people working behind the counter. Their poor wrists and arms must really hurt them at the end of their shifts after scooping out your favorite flavors from those frozen buckets for hours. I also appreciate their no contact pay and delivery system. There's a good size seating area outside for when the weather is warmer. I definitely recommend this place, not only for the kids, but for adults as well?
