Love this place!!! I used to get the pretzel picked up or delivered to me and one day we decided to stop in and check it out. Pretzel is still and always amazing but now we stop in once a wk. The owner is super sweet and service is outstanding.

Friendly staff, and they are attentive. Great place for a quick bite and drinks no matter the time of day

Went on a Monday evening, so not crowded. Nice that they have a long happy hour that lasts until 7:00 with half price beers.Food was good too. Assorted apps. Wings with various types of sauces. Big burgers and the pulled pork sandwich was good.Friendly and attentive staff.

You have to watch the owner of this place she will purposely not put alcohol in your drink and charge you for alcohol. Then she will have you removed once you speak up on it. By far the diviest bar in all of downtown Shelton. And the food sucks. Do not waste your time here. Bad experience. My only regret is that I can't give less stars.

(Last visited 8/26/2021.) Returning from Philadelphia on a work trip and I've always heard good things about Center Street Social, so it only makes sense to stop by here on the way home! So here's how it went! Want to see my video review? Head on over to "The Hungry Road" YouTube channel then search the restaurant's name!Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on Center Street in downtown Shelton is this gem. I couldn't tell if there was a private parking lot, but I do think there may have been a small on on the side of the restaurant. We parked on the street and it wasn't a big deal. Once inside this place is very rustic, tavern-esque and I liked it. There were high ceilings and the bar is to your left once you walk in. There are seats at the bar rail and on the right side of the restaurant are lots of tables and an exposed brick wall. Then there's a 3rd side which is considered the outdoor section! There is also a bar outdoor section complete with its own bar and a lot more tables out there.Service: Emily took excellent care of us and she was awesome. It seemed as if she was running the entire restaurant by herself except for pouring drinks. She was so sweet, talkative, funny and had an awesome personality. We appreciated her.Food: So I had the chance to try 4 of their wing flavors. Let's begin.Cajun Butter = I consider this wing to be a dry rub of sorts. I mean, it's a wing, with butter on it then sprinkled with Cajun seasoning. Exactly how I like it. These were very, very good.Wasabi Ranch = Probably the best looking wing on my tray and it tasted as good as it looked. The wasabi was powerful, but not head-opening, nose-clearing powerful. Lol. The ranch was present, but not over-powering.Buffalo = Good strong smell and strong flavor. It punches you right in the mouth.Maple Buffalo = This was an odd flavor for me. Both the maple flavors and buffalo flavors are strong so in my opinion, they didn't work very well together. They overpowered each other and didn't blend very well. The wings were a little on the smaller side, but that's okay because we came on a special night, which I'll go over in the next section.Value: So on Thursdays the restaurant offer $0.75 wings with a minimum order of 6 per flavor. So the wings are a bit smaller, but it just means you can eat more and try more flavors! In conclusion, I loved this place and would really like to make my way back down here to try out some more flavors! If you made it this far in the review, I appreciate you reading. Food was garbage. I don’t recommend you leave an card for a tab at this location. You will be cheated, your drinks will be skimped. How is this place even open? Can’t even enjoy a game here without security breathing down your neck the whole night. This place needs to be boycotted by every person of color. Racism is real and I have experienced it here.

If you like being treated like a second class citizen, over charged, and cheated this is your place! People of color beware, and be weary at this establishment.Negative stars for this dive bar from hell.

Sat at the bar and ordered 2 appetizers to share...they were big enough for a meal. Good pour on the drinks. Fast friendly service.

My absolute favorite place to go! I'm here at least once a week if not twice. Great atmosphere, music, people, food! And its walking distance :)
