Restaurant was not that busy, but it took a long time to have our orders placed. Had 2 “Flamingo” drinks, 1st one tasted like there was no alcohol in it, 2nd one definitely tasted stronger. This is not a “typical” Italian restaurant. You don’t get pasta and a salad included with every meal? Doesn’t even specify what meals come with what? I ordered pollo marsala & it came with a salad. It was loaded with salt. Mentioned it to waiter and he said “it’s the beef stock”…yuck. My boyfriend got the eggplant parmigiana & it did not come with a salad? He ordered broccoli rabe and it was really good. Prices were too high for the quality of food this restaurant is serving. First time here. Will try somewhere else next time.
You pay more if you use a credit card. So after a really nice meal. We left with a bad taste. Prices were fair
Great Italian restaurant for when you want an upscale dinner. There was only one server when we went, but she was great! All our dinners were delicious. Drinks are amazing too.
Wow! Very impressed. Nice clean friendly atmosphere with great food from start to finish. Very fair pricing also.
After being sat last night, no one came to the table. No water, nothing. We had to go up to the bar to order our bottle of wine and remind them we were there. And then, when the waiter finally came to bring us drinks, he dropped an entire martini and it went all over my aunt. The kicker, they never took it off the bill. This is terrible service & management. It was a huge disappointment all around. With all of the amazing Italian restaurants in CT, there is no need to ever go back here. Get it together.
Excellent food! First time there and I think we just found our new local Italian favorite.
Went for my dad's birthday, it's his favorite. The food was good, it was quiet and our group of 7 was in an alcove away from other diners so we felt pretty relaxed. The cocktails and wine selection are quite good. Prices for everything are reasonable.
Had heard that this restaurant was suppose to be pretty good, so I took a chance and ordered take out last night through Uber Eats. We were completely disappointed. We ordered two caesar salads with grilled chicken. Both salads arrived soggy and with no chicken. I also ordered 2 sides of meatballs for my daughter and they were just absolutely disgusting. They were freezing cold in center and they were so thick they were hard to chew. I called the restaurant just to say that I wanted to share you forgot the chicken and the woman who answer the phone was so unfriendly and could honestly care less. At first she told me I ordered it wrong and then said well she saw the chicken on there but whatever just submit it to uber for a refund. I was blown away and just hung up the phone. I will never order from here again just based on the lack of quality regarding the food and customer service.
This is the best Italian restaurant in the area They make homemade pasta and each dish has distinctive flavors The wines are superb. Definitely a 10/10 experience you won’t be disappointed
Just discovered this gem on the river rd in shelton! The dining room decor and italian music transport you to a villa somewhere in italia. The food is delicioso, especially the fried calamari, homemade pasta puttanesca and filet of sole. The wines from Sicily are also delish! Hope to become a regular there!
