Went to dinner to celebrate my birthday. We have been meaning to go here for awhile. The restaurant was busy, but the service was still really good. We ordered clams casino for an appetizer best I have had in a long time. Dinners we both had The shrimp and scallops with broccoli Rabe again very good. Dessert we tried their tartufo very tasty and we don’t usually eat dessert. I would really recommend this restaurant. We will be back !

Nice family style italian sit down with excellent food, service, and ambiance. They have a live singer to make the date even more romantic. We may become regulars here.

We made a reservation days ahead b/c we were traveling to New Haven; and Shelton is only 30 minutes away. The atmosphere was delightful; and the wait staff could not do enought to make us welcome. The menu was plentiful and the food was delicious. On this night there was a DJ/musician playng music from decades ago. All very nice.

Some of the best Italian food around. The service is amazing and the ambiance is just beautiful. Reminds me of being in NYC on Arthur Ave. We love it here!

Certainly a well know restaurant in the area and it definitely lives up to all the hype. This is the go to occasion restaurant for my family. Whenever we celebrate something special, the Italian restaurant that everyone wants to go to is here! I always get the chicken piccata or the penne à la vodka with a red sangria for dinner. And did I mention the bread?! By far the best bread basket ever! Highly recommend!

Food is great! We especially like the meatball app, Caesar salad, wedge salad, the Bolognese, and the Half-Roasted Chicken is so tender (although I order it without the sauce which is too sweet for my taste). Service is attentive but not overly so. Place can be extremely noisy on a Friday and Saturday night.

Sat at the bar and was very impressed by our server. Good pour on our drinks. Fresh warm bread. The seafood cocktail was so fresh and perfectly chilled, enjoyed every morsel. The shrimp and scallop ala vodka and the shrimp fra diavolo were both absolutely delicious.

We love the food here. You need a reservation but you will still wait. It is always crowded. The owner personally takes everyone's order so it does take some time. The food however is delicious. You could definitely eat here less than the $50 to $100 range. We spent pre-tip for (4) people. (3) appetizers and several drinks. Fresh warm bread and butter accompanies every meal. You will not be disappointed in the food. A few dishes we love chicken parmigiana, penne ale vodka, eggplant rollitini, stuffed mushrooms, the veal dishes....basically everything

Amazing food! Fresh seafood! Great martinis!

Wonderful meal, as always. It was quite busy at 7:30 on a cold Friday night, so in order to avoid a long wait (even with reservations) we took a small table at the window near the bar. Service was pleasant albeit a little slower than we would have liked, perhaps staffing not 100% but hard to be sure. Wine selection and beer choices are plentiful. Chef made adjustments to our meals to suit our preferences with no trouble and the quality and quantity were on point. Only real complaint was that they should have a temporary walkway attached to the entrance to help cut down on the cold draft every time the door was opened.Overall, I'd give them an 8 of 10 and look forward to dinner on the sidewalk this summer.
