If this location had more training and properly staffed, it would probably do a lot better than it is. Most major meal times, this location seems to be empty minus a car or 2 in the drive-thru when all other options are packed. Food isn't too bad when you get your correct order, and sometimes you may have to wait 30+minutes till your order is ready.
They charged extra in the kids menu for drinks, didn't gave napkins and sauce. To complain I called the store manager, they said they will refund the extra charge they didn't. When in the counter, I checked out... They said they ran out of kids drinks, which is a replacement but still they charged. It's the worst Popeyes service so far, I got
Visited tonight and unfortunately won't be coming back to this location. The service wasn't slow but the young man who took our order was speaking so quietly, we couldn't hear him over the sounds in the kitchen even after telling him we couldn't hear him. Paid for a sandwich combo with a Mac & cheese side, but was given mashed potatoes and no biscuit. Also got a tender combo but received very small pieces of chicken that we're not spicy (which was asked for) with no fry side. The only thing that was correct was a regular chicken sandwich. So we paid $21 for combo meals that were either incomplete, incorrect, or both. Definitely don't recommend. If you're wanting Popeyes, choose a different location
Went tonight and ordered the popcorn shrimp combo. Barely any shrimp in the box and what there was is extremely dried out, hard, and over fried. Like they gave the crumbs of an earlier batch. The fries were soggy and oily. The only thing good was the lemonade.
Popeyes is my 8 year old daughter's favorite fast food place and she asked for us to get her some for her birthday last week. It was the first time we ever eat inside and found out the entire staff, from cooks to managers, are all new. The service was excellent!! Everyone was friendly and provided great customer service. I believe things will get better at this location, so give it a chance!! :)
Not sure where all those bad reviews were from, but whomever was working around 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 5, thank you for your kindness and great service. Super nice staff and they seemed to get along. Drive thru didn’t seem to work so I went inside. Not a big deal but maybe just address the customer to say it might be a minute. Clean restaurant as well. Thx!
Service is generally quite slow but the food is tasty. Was frustrated when I visited last time and they forgot to give us the cocktail sauce and biscuits that came with our meal and the person before me in line had to go back to ask for them to actually fill their drink cup up all the way because the girl only filled it halfway.
No ody is here and it says online that they're open..... So basically they just close when they feel like it ? #Unprofessional never doing business here again
Honestly they never have what we ask for or get our orders right. Constantly a long wait. Surprised it even has 3 stars on here though it seems some of the positive reviews might have been intended for other locations. Worth the drive to get Popeyes in New London if you really want it!!
