Seriously the best Jamaican food ever. You must try the oxtails! Tender, fall off the bone in the most delicious gravy! Fresh vegetables cooked to tender perfection. Anytime I am in the Norwich area, I will make it a point to stop here. I'm on a no rice plan now, but have had their rice in the past and that was delish as well. All freshly handmade. Once you try it once, you'll be back!!

The food was so delicious ? and the service was great. Everyone who worked there was so nice and welcoming. We came to town for an event and we looked up Haitian restaurants nearby. I read the reviews and all the great things people say is true. If we ever in town again, we will definitely come by. Thank you to the staff for their service and again, everything we ate was delicious. Pictures is the Legume, rice and beans and a side of oxtail.
So I’m usually really weary about trying new foods from other cultures, as they usually use spices that my body has a hard time tolerating. But HOLY MOLEY!!! The jerk chicken was ASTOUNDING!! The gentle spice paired beautifully with the more subtle and muted flavors of the rice & beans. Juicy and super tender. The veggies were delicious and a wonderful combo to beat the spice of the chicken. My fiancé had the curry chicken and he loved it as much as I did!! We might just have to make this a semi regular spot for us for date nights
Absolutely DELICIOUS! First off… I highly recommend the jerk chicken! The veggies & rice are sooooo good! Curry chicken was good too. The jerk chicken blows any jerk chicken I ever had outta the water by far!!! Definitely coming back again.. five stars to Mommy

Wow Wow Wow! This has to be one of the best establishments in Norwich CT. I got the Curry Chicken and the favors and spice were just amazing. The staff was very friendly, the food was absolutely delicious! I talked with the person in charge and she was incredibly friendly. 10 out of 10.

I saw the pictures of their food on the window when I went to the Doctor and thought “hmmm, that food looks good and there isn’t a lot of Caribbean food places around; let me try it out.” When I tell you I ate every bite.....I couldn’t stop eating their food! When I tell you their jerk chicken fell right off the bone, I MEAN THAT! The jerk chicken tasted AMAZING through and through, it had so much depth to the flavor as if it had been cooking for hours, and it had the perfect amount of heat. Their sautéed side veggies were flavored to perfection with that Caribbean-style taste, pairing the sweetness of the carrot, the crunch of the cabbage and that slight bitterness of the string beans. Then, the side rice and beans were out of this world! It’s as if they took every grain and infused it with just the right amount of flavor, because I couldn’t put my spoon down! So happy I went to Mommy’s Delicious Food, because his place is a true gem of Norwich and I will DEFINITELY be going back!
Phenomenal food! Some of the best jerk chicken I've ever had! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I often go out of my way to get lunch there.
