My son and I stopped by Friendly’s for dinner on an unusually busy Tuesday and we had Kristin as our server. She was juggling a lot of tables but she was still able to give us excellent customer service and made sure we didn’t wait long for our food and ice cream! Kristin is the best server we’ve had at Friendly’s in a long time!
Placed an order over the phone. Spoke with Nielly. Was very personable and patient with me as I tried to remember our entire order. When I picked the food up she was just as nice and personable in person. Was working hard to make every customer happy and to be helpful to her team mates. Kudos and cheers to you all.
The food was fair and the atmosphere was non-formal. Our waitress was very nice. There was absolutely nothing special about the food atmosphere or service. If your hungry and you want to fill your stomach with mediocre comfort food then this is the place to go. However, with the economy getting increasingly more costly I personally would rather save my money for a little better quality food.
Had a big order or sundaes Selena made sure all my sundaes we're made perfectly even after I changed an order. The service alone makes this restaurant worth coming to

OMG so I live in Richmond, VA and we haven’t had a Friendlys in years. So naturally as I was out exploring I saw this and had to get some good eats. It was just as I remembered. Thanks for the memories!!!
The food is very delicious but the service is very slow, so beware if you're in a rush!
I love eating breakfast at Friendly’s restaurant in Norwich, CT. The food is delicious and the service is quick. The server’s are friendly and one in particular stands out. YoYo always has a smile on her face and she remembers what you drink in the morning and your usual breakfast order. By the 3rd time I ate breakfast there she knew I order French toast and orange juice. One year my schedule did not allow me to eat there in the mornings but when I started going again she still remembered. It makes you feel welcomed and special.
The food was ok, the sundaes were great. Our server Hilda was good but her fellow co-workers were not so friendly. Unbeknownst to me, the other servers were not trying to wait on our table. So that left Hilda to wait on us. She was so busy, that they were not even willing to help her. I tried to pay up at the counter and the wait staff just stared at me like I was a plague. I guess they thought that we weren't going to leave a tip because we are black.
Great waiter his name was Rene went for lunch got an all American burger with fries had to ask for a little Mayo cause I ordered it without Mayo it came with lettuce and tomato and no cheese on abrioche bun but I asked for grilled sour dough bread grilled it was delicious?waiter checked on us several times very efficient and polite also used friendlys app for a FREE medium sundae with hot fudge and peanut butter topping with whipped. Ream and ? cherry! E hadn’t been there in many years but we will return
