Having a taste for pizza while in Connecticut, we looked this place up since our family member suggested it and it has been around for a long time. Welp, we had a bad experience because the pizza came out horrible! We ordered a large pepperoni with sausage and the crust was stiff as cardboard with burnt cheese on top. Some of the dough of the pizza looked undercooked as well and they were pretty skimpy on the toppings. It was a bummer that it was too late to return the pizza since we had already returned home to wait it before going out again later on. This is your warning to not eat there pizza here again because of the bad quality for such a expensive pizza(And yes, I understand inflation).
A two topping green pepper and onion pizza just about had a very thin slice of pepper on each piece and it was difficult to find the onion. Quite a difference than the last time had had ordered it there. Won’t be back.
First time visiting here we got the Italian burger,Reuben sandwich and nachos which were the best nachos I’ve ever had. Everything was amazing. Definitely going to be visiting again.
We were greeted pleasantly upon arrival by the girl in the bar. The place was empty at 5pm on a Saturday, but filled up more as we were there. We've been here before, but not too often. We did encounter some problems this time around. The meatball grinder my folks got was very dry, had very little sauce on it, and not many meatballs. It was half empty. The bread it was on was good, as was my tuna grinder. I didn't care for the coffee. They had no decaf tea, and no refills on regular tea, always an annoyance. The Greek chicken soup was good, as always, but the oyster crackers were stale. When we told the waitress about the meatball grinder late into our meal, she wasn't overly concerned but said she'd tell the kitchen. That was the last we heard of it, no apology or anything. So kind of disappointing on the food and service. Don't know that we'll go back any time soon as we've had much better experiences.
Ate at Fat Cat Sat. night March 26,2022. Waitress was okay. Ordered a large meatball grinder. Meatballs were good and bread was good. That is about it!. All that was in the grinder was a few meatballs, and a little cheese. If there was a tablespoon of sauce on this grinder that is about it. It was extremely dry! I mentioned this to the waitress. She said she would tell the kitchen. Well I guess that was it. The coffee was lousy and the croutons for the soup were stale. Will not be going back there again. I have dined there many times but nothing like this. They didn't even seem to care. So much for customer relations. Not a good experience with these new owners.
Hands down the best (only) Greek pizza in Norwich. Top notch mozzarella, thick buttery crust, everything you’d ever want.I’m so glad you guys remain true because over the years all the other “Greek” pizza joints in town changed owners and sadly so did the recipes and quality of food.Keep up the good work!
Food was plain and not enjoyable at all. First time there and definitely the last. Italian where?? Prices do not match the quality of the food.
The food is great here. My kids and I love their pizza. I’ve had a couple different salads here and they pack a punch. They definitely don’t skimp on portions. Whenever my family and I eat here we are taking home leftovers. Welcoming people work here. Stop in and you’ll understand why this place had such a wonderful food write in CT’s food newspaper.
Always enjoy coming here. Food is always good. Owner used to own Olympic across the street before it became a pharmacy and the community was heartbroken until he opened fat cats. Came back to the game even better than Olympic! It's half the reason I have my appointments in Norwich whenever I can.
I've been in here many of times. Food is always good. I was in not to long ago and the Rhee behind the bar was as friendly as always. To make a long embarrassing story short. She told me to pick her up at 6 and it would be $200 for the night . So humiliating I don't think I could ever go back.
