My boyfriend and I visited Tio Agustin the night before Cinco de Mayo to celebrate early! This restaurant is tucked away in a small strip plaza, but very bright inside with colorful decorations. The guac and chips were tasty, and the sopes with chicken were our favorite part of the meal. The enchiladas were flavorful, and the refried beans tasted like they had sour cream mixed in, giving them a unique tang. The steak tacos were tasty, but a bit dry - we used some of the green sauce that came with our enchiladas, and it definitely helped! I typically like double shelled tacos, but in this case the tacos weren’t greasy and it wasn’t necessary, which kind of added to the dryness factor. All of the ingredients were fresh though, and our waitress was very attentive. The food came out so quickly too.
Good food at reasonable prices.
