This place is fantastic. The breakfast food and coffee was delicious. We had the red and green egg sandwich and the classic with rotisserie pork. Even better was the staff. While it's typically counter service, they come out to chat and look after your orders whenever they can. We'll be stopping here whenever we are in the area.
This place is great. The people are super nice and the food is wonderful. They have a great selection of sandwiches breakfast options pasta dishes and more. The one thing they don’t have on the menu is duck. Ha ha. I wish they had one closer to where I live. I would be there once a week at least.
We just had the best sandwiches of our lives! The rotisserie pork sandwich with homemade tomato jam was literally to die for. My “Cardio” sandwich was also delightful… that pesto and goat cheese were a perfect counterbalance to each other. The sandwich bread is perfectly soft but not chewy - a great vehicle for all these fixings. The locally sources sodas were a fun side treat and the fries are not to be missed. Loved meeting Phyllis! She is wonderfully hospitable and one of the many reasons we will be back soon!!
I live in CT about an hour and 15 mins away but anytime I’m in that area (aquarium, escape room), I make sure to stop by with my husband and boys. We love this charming little lunch spot. This place offers good fresh food and the presentation is lovely. The owners are also wonderful. I love all the duck decor too. Very charming and worth a visit!
Don't let the humorous name deter you - this is a Norwalk gem!! First of all, the hostess/greeter was exceptional. She had the most delightful personality and was so welcoming - it was a refreshing surprise. If you love ducks - this is the place! And then there is the menu. They offer quiche, pasta, smoked salmon, rotisserie pork, and much more. We had breakfast sandwiches this time but they have an incredible range of delicious items and the Fizzy Palmer's with mint were out of this world - sounds so simple but blew me away! So refreshing. Highly recommend.
Got the harvest salad and it was basically only arugula...I've never had a salad that skimped out of sweet potatoes or beets like this. Literally only a tablespoon of sweet potatoes!! I will say the dressing was great but I really was expecting more sweet potatoes since it was $11. As a first time customer I don't really want to return back. My husband has the pesto chicken sandwich and the chicken tasted like microwaved deli chicken
A literal gem of a shop. It is so unique and a breath of fresh air. I can't believe I lived in the area for countless years and didn't know about this. The staff is incredibly nice and the food is top of the notch.
The Dilly Duck my go to spot every time I go to Norwalk. Must Eat! Very Friendly Staff.
French-inspired style, from chef experience at high-end French restaurants in the area, with made fresh ingredients and very good taste. Drinks are more unique and include multiple alchoholic options. There are a couple of tables to eat outside.
The food here is so fresh and delicious, the service extremely helpful and pleasant, and the coffee - exquisite! The place has such a cool vibe, too. Hubs and I had lattes, pesto chicken sandwiches with house-made slaw, lattes, and brought home some delicious baked goods. Can’t wait to return!
