It was our first time here, the atmosphere was nice, as well as the decor. The menu is on the wall, you're to order first and sit. The sausage,egg&cheese on a hard roll was ordinary. If the roll were buttered & grilled, it would've taken it to the next level. A little extra effort would go a long way here, as well as the lack of friendliness at the counter when ordering.
Greek omlet is great home made hash not so much. Too much potato. First time visitors from out of town. Would go back to try other dishes. Help is friendly enough and they were busy. Local law enforcement are frequently visitors
Nice little place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. Tasty food and comfortable vibe. Staff is upbeat and not overbearing. Wonderful lemon chicken soup. They are closed on Wednesday. Metered parking waived by entering your license # into machine in their restaurant.
Thier homemade corned beef hash is amazing. Whatever coffee brand they use too stands out from the rest. I'm always happy leaving there and the price is right!
Egg Benedict and French toast ? ? . Plus the staff are very friendly. I can't wait to go back for lunch.
When you arrive they will add at least $2 to every menu item. False advertising and with the price increase it's no longer worth it. Their listed prices are not what they chargeSuper disappointed in how bad this place crumbled
First and LAST visit to SoNo Harbor Deli & Cafe - we were looking for a new breakfast spot in the area to frequent since we are relatively new to the area. From the moment we sat down it felt rushed and unwelcoming. Our waitress was definitely irritated and over being there which was very obvious from the moment she addressed us. Very cold/short right off the bat - you almost felt like a burden for ordering coffee. For food we ordered two eggs with bacon and the corned beef hash with two eggs. She literally walked off before I was even done ordering. The runner brought us our plates and had no idea which one was which because of how little corned beef was actually on the plate. She first asked us if we could tell them apart and then was like “well it looks like you got the same thing”. We definitely didn’t, it just looked that way because of the massive pile of flavorless potato on both plates. One with specks of corned beef. One without. I also commented that my eggs were wrong and she just walked off. Likely didn’t hear me or just wasn’t listening. Eggs for both dishes were actually wrong and we never got our bacon. We thought we would get to address the issues however no one came back to check on us until they saw we were done and offered the check. At that point it wasn’t worth it. Everyone was running around, stressed, complaining to each other about checks and tables and guys in the back. I get that it’s busy but we were sitting at the bar and our waitress didn’t even make eye contact with us, let alone check on our food. You’re literally already standing there and would have taken 2 seconds to ask. Overall it was just a very uncomfortable visit and even though we live close by we won’t be back.
My favorite spot when I go to visit my daughter and SONO. Banana nut pancakes are the best with a side of eggs to dip. And the coffee is always so delicious and so are ALL the staff is extra Nice. ❤?

Would love to continue supporting this place but can’t do it anymore. I hate leaving bad reviews but this place has such great potential, I hope they improve. Ever since moving to Norwalk in the summer, I’ve been ordering from this location on occasion. Food is typically good but the last few times service has been pretty bad. Last time, we waited an extra 20+ minutes for pick up due to an ongoing issue with the servers and chefs. This time, found a hair in my wrap and my drink was made completely wrong (ordered online so all add-ins were listed). And every time before that, there always seemed to be something missing in our to-go orders. I’ll try this place again in a few months, maybe by then things will be better.
