I’ve been here three times in the last three months. I’ve had a different dish each time. Every plate has been incredible. I’ve also had a different waiter each time. Each one was personable and professional. Dine here ASAP.
Joe Bruno is a LEGEND in the culinary and restaurant business. I live in Charleston SC now but I'm looking forward to dining at Pasta Nostra this summer when I visit. Always my absolute favorite!
Best food in South Norwalk. Hands down. Owner visited our table appropriately and cordially three times to either deliver a drink (service-oriented leadership) or to check on our enjoyment. We witnessed the alleged customer-owner dispute found on these reviews (12/4 or 12/5) and the complaint is grossly exaggerated; staff, owner and other service people are excellent, and it's clear these people are top-notch professionals. I'll be back here soon, as will all of my friends and family.
What a horrible dining experience! Our service was horrible the drinks were not good! Worst espresso I’ve ever had Sambuca not even in a snifter no lemons I had to ask. And then they berated us because we weren’t done with the tip !! the owner actually was screaming at us on our way out the door and I posted a picture of him !! This is restaurant is definitely Not worth the money or the time to go back. They should’ve stayed out of business the owner is the worst kind of man you could ever imagine! You would think he would ask his customers what was wrong how can I please you! We work at a very prominent day spa in Westport and have a lot of connections and we will be spreading the word

A delicious meal tonight. Every aspect of the menu is overseen, prepared and delivered by a very caring team of professionals and their passionate leader, Joe Bruno. The quality shows in everything from the bread and olive oil, cheese selections, house made appetizers and the most delicious pasta dishes with delicate sauces. The wine list is well curated with a strong slant toward European selections. I can’t wait to return to try more dishes.
I've been a fan of pasta Nostra bruculino's,pasta Nostra since their days on Washington Street. I grew up in Norwalk so I know the best places to eat. This little gem gives your tastebuds an experience! Fresh, creative, and un-apologetically wonderful. From the wine to the bread if they still have the Olivita try it, its so delicious. And the entrees are heavenly, Joe knows what he's doing. The olive oil alone is worth the trip. I would gladly wait for hours for some of those magnificent dishes. If you get a chance to go, andiamo! I live in Kent, and I'm sitting here right now debating if I should drive the 90 minutes for some of their spiral sausage. Abbodanza tutti!
We just happened to find this lovely restaurant on our way home last evening. The staff was so pleasant and the food was AMAZING!!!! The Homemade pasta was perfect. I had the eggplant parmigiana, which had no bread crumbs!!! Loved it prepared this way.My husband, who is Italian, on his first visit to an Italian restaurant always orders pasta, with marinara sauce, a meatball and a sausage. This tells him the quality of the above. He was VERY pleased with his dinner!!!! We will be going back next year on our yearly trip to MA.
This one star is for the arrogance of the owner. I intended to take my husband to your restaurant for his birthday, thouth after reading the responses from the owner to the negative reviews I totaly changed my mind. A business should be appreciative of the 5 stars reviews as well as the 1 star reviews. The 5 stars might bring you more patrons on the other hand the 1 stars are a great oportunity for improvements. There is not perfection anywhere. Listen to patrons.
