Got delivery (UberEats) from Oishi Sushi & Izakaya. I was impressed with the quality of the food, the sushi tasted delicious and was very fresh. Especially liked the Main Street roll. Appreciated the ability to substitute brown rice.Echoing some of the other reviews, the rolls were on the smaller side, so if you’re looking for the best bang for your buck when it comes to quantity, this may not be the best place for you.I also appreciated the way they packaged the food, with the hot items in a separate bag than the room temp rolls.

Our favorite sushi spot in Norwalk. My daughter and I love the calamari, shrimp gyoza and eel and avocado rolls. Pair your meal with plum wine for the ultimate sweet and savory combination.
Chef’s sushi are TINY and as you can see on the photos fish are thin! And regular sushi rolls are made of minced fish filled with fillers. To too bad experience fish is not so fresh. $16-19 per chef roll is crazy, it’s terrible quality! You get better quality $10 at some place you order home. Very disappointed. It’s NOT the place for sushi. Maybe for the cocktails cause drinks are good.One of the worst sushi experiences.
Oishi is one of our favorite restaurants in Norwalk. Has to be some of the best sushi in Connecticut, with great prices and fantastic value. Good variety as well. We like to get the sushi deluxe and a few other items. The food is always amazing and we love sitting by the sushi bar to watch the chefs work. Fish is always fresh and cut to order for every roll or piece.

The sushi was really fresh. Great service for pickup, they even called to make sure they made our order right. The Gyozas were great too.
Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The food is great, especially the Taiwanese style food. The desserts are all tasty and well made. Lots of good food and people here.

Very good SoNo sushi joint. First time here and ordered sushi/sashimi with some edemame. Very fresh and delicious from the real wasabi to the fresh fish. Got a dragon roll to go and will inhale that soon, too. Very nice staff and as I was by myself they quickly told me their WiFi password.
