My mom and I had such a great stay at this hotel!we only stayed one night, but it was by far the best stayed for one night, but it was by far the best we’ve ever experienced at any of our past hotels! This one stuff was very nice to us, he was also very hospitable and extremely attentive. This one lady was just amazing at the pool bar! She provided such excellent customer service! We will be returning, so please don’t forget about us Much Love, Jake Johnson

Outraged by how this property practices business with its guests by over-charging and not even apologizing for it. The rack rate of this property cannot exceed $329 for double occupancy and this is what it shows on the door inside the room by the Connecticut Hotel and Innkeepers association as policy called "Title 44". The price for the second night we did not plan to stay was over $450! No inclusive of breakfast. The receptionist saw how we were shocked knowing already what the room looks like. In all honestly not better than a decent Motel6 or RedCarpet hotel room, minimal size, bad mastress (you feel the springs on your back), smelly pillows and linen with excessive bleach, no room to walk around or even sit at the table, and also told that the coffee would not be complementary. I wrote to the General Manager as his business card is generously displayed at the front desk. Staff is courteous but powerless. We booked through Expedia to save a few bucks. No idea why the hotel seemed to be busy, perhaps a function going on as it has some conference spaces. The general manager did not reply to a polite email asking to get some explanation and perhaps a refund of some of the excessive charges. We stayed two nights, the first one was already pricey for the service and room we got, but below $300. This is the type of experience no traveler wants to have. It leaves a bad taste and certainly does not show any professionalism or any desire to provide an honest and decent transaction for the value offered. Watch out!

This place use to be good, well no longer the case!!!! Front desk people are horrible, they treat you like a second class citizen. They run their mouth with remarks. Very unprofessional, poorly managed front desk. We stayed on a third floor which is a new addition to building, although it looks nice and was clean, the beds were terrible, cheap mattresses, I could feel coils and the those pillows left me with neck pain. Shower cabins and plastic walls are just giving off vibe of a cheap motel. Last but not least, $25 fee for pool?? After staying at Kimpton, IHG group, this left our trip with very bad taste in our mouths! Never again. All negative reviews were spot on.

Rooms were average for the price with a TV way too small for the room . Breakfast was over priced and just ok . They charged and extra 25 to use their small pool even if you are a guest. Staff was over bearing and very rude we were not in the parking lot 10 minutes getting ready to leave fir the day when the chad at the desk came out and informed us there is no partying in the lot even though all we were doing was gathering our things to leave fir the day. Apparently people in tie dies are not welcome here.

The motel is well kept, serviced daily. Renter beware.....there is a $25.00 per person charge to use the pool. No breakfast due to " covid policies". and a $3.00 charge for a morning cup of coffee as there is no complimentary coffee station. For a $200 a nite motor inn, I would have expected more. RP

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Alfredo at the front desk and David Bruder, manager, made us feel welcome and at home at once. We arrived on our 10-speed bikes and walked into the Inn with them and were met with enthusiasm. A secure spot was immediately found for us to store them. We moved into a very pleasant room (318) with a king-sized bed and a well-equipped bathroom, a tall fridge, a coffee machine, and a comfy bed. I asked for a luggage rack and one arrived in very short order. In other words, the staff here (all extremely helpful and friendly) do their best to smooth out any wrinkles. We ended up having a wonderful time here. David sets the tone and because of him, the rest of his crew follow in his footsteps. Our every need was attended to and very graciously, I must say. We found our room and the rest of the facilities spotlessly clean, and the AC in the room worked not only well but silently, too We travel all over the world and stay at all sorts of places. This Inn turned out to be a great oasis in Norwalk and we are glad to have found it.

Not good. Staff was unprofessional when we arrived. They barely spoke to us and answered our few questions brusquely without looking at us while they carried a conversation between them. Use of the pool is not included, which they constantly tell you even if you haven’t mentioned it. They charge $25 per person to use the pool, and they guard it weirdly. The hallways and rooms are poorly maintained. The seams of the cheap laminate flooring in our room were chipped and raised. The elevator smelled and the carpet inside was caked with some kind of white stuff. There is only one ice machine in the building and it was broken. The one soda machine available eats five dollar bills. The ceiling vents drip water in the lobby. The restaurant charges more to substitute a salad for fries than it costs to just buy a salad. Everything is just a step below reasonable expectation and feels like a bait and switch at every turn.We travel a lot and we are pretty easygoing. This place is just frustrating.

This place is wonderful! The food, especially the Mediterranean salad, is great! The conference rooms are air-conditioned, so you will always feel cool. The hotel is right off the highway, clean, with a good amount of parking. It is also just 5 minutes from the SoNo collection, as well as the rest of downtown Norwalk. The pool is a saltwater pool, which is also really nice. Overall, great place to stay!

Staff was average; some great and others out to lunch. For the money of the room, and the price of breakfast, I would have expected a correctly taken order, bacon that wasn't a day old, cold, and dry, and hash brown that wasn't just a circle of Luke warm potato mush. I was not the only one that complained and the staff were deer in headlights.Atmosphere of hotel is nice, apparently clean, and decently maintained.

We live in Florida, but travel to Connecticut every summer and we’ve always stayed at this hotel 4-6 times as it’s well located and not overly expensive. . We’ve always had a fairly pleasant experience but this trip was different. First of all the front desk person is probably one of the rudest front desk persons’ that I’ve ever encountered in all of my years of travel. Secondly, they changed the policy regarding use of the pool and while I understand that they want to limit outside/locals to crowd their pool, they are asking for a $25 per person pool fee. You have to be a registered guest and on top of that you have to pay a $25 fee which appears on their website for about 15 seconds and disappears so you don’t really know that until you get there and it does not feature prominently on sites such as Expedia either. SO… essentially your room is $50 more than what you had planned if you are a party of two. Even the most luxurious resorts have a resort fee but it is per day, per room not per day, per person, per room!! Ridiculous. You have to understand this is a small family Hotel, with no real amenities other than a small outdoor pool. Interestingly enough, a manager came out to “discuss”with me but he couldn’t care less that we were very surprised with the new policy, that we were repeat customers, that we were planning on staying six times over the course of the summer with them… He could not care less. Really bad experience. They’ve lost our business And if you’re planning on traveling to Norwalk and potentially meeting up with a family member or friend at a central location, don’t don’t do it at this hotel!
