First time back in a very long time and it's just as I remembered! It's a neighborhood gem with quality food (empanadas are great) and very friendly. I always get the Pollo a la plancha. You get a ton of food (chicken, rice, fries, salad) at a great price. I highly recommend if you're in the area and want an authentic mom and pop cuisine.
I'm assuming it's pretty authentic. Everyone in there was speaking Spanish and ordering breakfast. I said give me 1 of those, pointing to a sandwich in the case. It was delicious
This restaurant has the best Colombian foods, and very good attention to customers.
First had Memo's at my cousin's baby shower and loved everything I had. Now just drove an hour from my house in the Bronx just to get the empanadas and some deliciousness from there.
Authentic Colombian food. I always stop in when I'm in town. I wish i wasn't so far from here, I'd stop in more often. Delicious! ????

I love Memo's. Since starting work in South Norwalk this summer I've often bought a cheese danish on my way through in the morning. The place is lively, and the staff and owners are kind and helpful. They make and serve excellent pastries, and I can't recommend the danish enough, but above all the friendly atmosphere at Memo's means it deserves all 5 stars.
Best little spot in Sono. Empanadas, Chicharon, Arepa, pastries. Grade A and the right price.
