We had dinner at Match inside on Saturday evening. I would recommend reserving early as it was progressively busier and noisier as the evening progressed. Our server was excellent, knowledgeable and punctual. I opted fro two small plates/appetizers which were more than adequate. The fresh fig and AHI Tuna were excellent; flavorful and very fresh. My husband had the carpetbagger fried oysters. I thought it had too many sauces; one being a garlic sauce which was not needed. Our friends had the local salad which came with a potato pancake that was wonderful, but rather heavy. She opted to take half the salad home. Swordfish which was a very large thick portion; half of that went home; and her husband had a pasta dish with burrata, also a very large portion. For dessert we all shared the strawberry rhubarb crumble which was plenty to share. Be forewarned a 20% tip was added to our check. Overall we enjoyed our experience, the food and service was excellent.
The food is mediocre for the price. I've been to much better places for the same value. Seating outside is a nice option but the noise on the street makes it unpleasant.
Absolutely never dissappoints!! Hadn't been there in a while brought my husband and friends for his birthday. So good as always.
It was a beautiful Saturday evening so we were hoping to sit outside. Unfortunately the outdoor seating was full except for a couple of tables in the alley way. We decided to sit inside. Great decision. The service was great, the food exceptional. We especially liked the octopus fritters and the craft cocktails were fantastic, the desert menu could use some inspiration but Iâm not much of a desert person anyway. Great overall,experience.

For a good meal itâs hard to beat match. There octopus frites are the best. I had their sliced Waygu beef cooked to perfection.
