Nice spot. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good, ramen hit the spot and appetizers were tasty. The restaurant is a bit small but if you don’t feel like cooking and have a craving for ramen, Good Hope Dumpling and Ramen is the place to go.
Excellent service and delicious food. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Also, they offer a vegan ramen noodle upon request.
The food tasted okay but the portions for the price charged left a bit to be desired. For $14 we got the below dandan noodles which filled less than half of the bowl. Pork dumplings were okay but also very tiny portions. Value for money was the clincher here, won’t likely return
Such a great place! We have lived in Asia and can attest to the authenticity and quality of the food here. And they’re very kind and nice! We had my son’s birthday celebration here (he’s the dumpling king) and she presented him with a beautiful box of chop sticks! Highly recommended.
The owner Alex and his wife are amazing people. Their food is excellent. This was my first time going and it will no be the last. This will be my go to Ramen and dumpling place for sure. Their signature “Good Hope Ramen” was amazing. I might there to says better than anything i have try before in CT and NYC for sure. Cleanliness, environment are amazing as well.
My husband & I came here for the first time a few years ago. The food, the atmosphere, & the employees were amazing. Next thing you know, Covid hits ?. Needless to say, we have not been back since… Their exceptional food and service is still impeccable. Nothing has changed. It is as amazing, if not more so, than before. Thank you to the staff for cooking us awesome & beautiful food/ meals. It’s no wonder they are still in business and going strong since the vid hit. They rock! Tonight’s dinner is just as good, if not better, as last time. Same goes for the service. I highly recommend going to this “off the beaten path” restaurant. This place is fantastic. My family and I have been waiting for a legit dumpling house to open up in Fairfield county, and wish we'd eaten here sooner. To me it feels like eating in your grandmothers house. Not super fancy, but really, really fresh, flavorful and good. These are dumplings you keep eating even after you're full, because they taste so good.
Excellent dumplings and noodles. Spicy options solid level, not overwhelming. Wonton soup had a spice I didn’t love, but others may like.
So glad we found this place! Small and genuine, everything we ordered was so delicious. Highly recommend the Szechuan chili dumplings and the spicy miso ramen. The service was excellent and I enjoyed the experience of ramen at a small shop so much more than the common chain restaurant. Will definitely be back!! Thanks Nikki!
