Waitstaff was rude. Food was bland. I was with a goup of 8 and only 3 people liked their food.House salad ginger dressing didn't taste like gingerTofu soup and dumpling soup had no flavorGolden pillows sushi is not sushi at all and has too much rice and falls apartStir fried rice had too many peasTeriyaki chicken was good
Very hospitable staff, extremely accommodating ( one of my kids has a rare sesame allergy) and they check on you often to make sure you get what you want in a timely manner. Good is delicious. Highly recommend this place ,have been going there for over 20 years now.
The food here is pretty good. Though the service is different. Not bad, just very eager and literal. We asked for a minute to look at the menu and the server was back in 60 seconds. Was quite funny, can't argue with being literally correct. The ban chan here is great and they will refill any item if you ask.
Smaller fusion restaurant in a strip mall off of Danbury Rd. Polite staff with a phenomenal bibimbop. Big portion for lunch and definitely would fill dinner need. Would visit again
Service has gone downhill. I've lived the neighborhood for 16 years and came here regularly- but since the owners changed, so did the quality and service. Last time we dined in, after 20 minutes or so, we asked the server if she could check on our order, she said it was coming without even checking, and then she never came back to our table. So rude. We watched her bring banchan to the only other patron in the restaurant who came in after us. We never received our banchan. We were confused. We waited over 50 minutes, the other patron in the restaurant he got his entire meal before us. We were so shocked, got up to leave - the person at the front told us to "wait and that her husband was "making our food" right now. Told it has been almost an hour already-- we were sitting there like ghosts, completely ignored. We miss the old owners and their friendly service. Will never return. So sad.
Food was pretty good and place is nice too. Loved the staff and GopDolBowl was amazing.
Obscenely expensive. The price of the meal was outrageous for the quality and quantity of food served. The "Princess Roll" ordered was $12.99 and was mainly cucumber with a hint of apple. The crab inside was so scarce, that it could not be tasted.Miso soup would have been better if made with instant soup mix available at any Japanese food store. One very thin piece of Tamago (egg) was $2.99. The waitress served it cut diagonally, then informed me that it was actually 2 pieces. ?The Yukgaejang, a spicy beef soup, ($15.99) was absolutely tasteless. No spice, no taste, no flavor.I left hungry, $45.00 lighter, and feeling a bit "ripped off."Without doubt, the worst Korean meal we've ever eaten, anywhere.I can not recommend this restaurant on any level.Too many other good choices in the area.
