Absolutely horrendous experience. As mentioned by the two women below, we were accused of having fake IDs and turned away at the door. Both myself and the friend I was with have REAL ID licenses as is required by US Homeland Security. Amazing that the security clearance at Alex’s Lounge is more rigorous than the literal department of Homeland Security!!! Go figure. Will never get my business.
DO NOT COME HERE!!Tried to come here on 3/11/2022 with a large group of sober people. One of thepeople in our group (aged 26) was unable to enter with her CT issued drivers license, because the bouncer said "it looked fake" They did not scan the license and the license was NOT expired, but the bouncer could not provide any reason why he thought it was fake, just that she wasn't allowed in.Disgraceful and a SHAME that your front door staff is turning people away for no reason. I will never give my money to this place again and I recommend you don't either.
I was wrongly accused of having a fake ID (and denied entry) although I have been here before with no problem and my ID is straight from the DMV. Likely racist staff.. Just because I am Asian and I guess look young. None of my friends were denied entry (none of them Asian, either). My license was issued in 2020/2021 so it’s fairly new. If anyone wishes to respond to this, I will gladly come back to show my ID again and prove that I am well over 21 years old. Please don’t go here if you’re Asian and look younger or if you received your license recently. Very disappointing. Rude encounter.

Excellent ambience in a great location. The dance floor is huge, good music, friendly staff, good security. Looking forward to go dancing again in this place!
Great food, nice staff. Country line dancing on Thursday was so much fun.
Once again I am definitely impressed with Alex lounge. One of the newest additions to south Norwalk by far this place has set a new precedent for this vibrant area with a growing nightlife. This area consists mainly of restaurants, bars, and nightlife but has been somewhat stagnant was far as keeping up with the times, until now. Alex lounge is has now set a new standard and is as not only the "hot spot" but has an amazing staff, GREAT food, entertainment and more. Obviously they've got this business down pat and I'm sure they will crush it here. Thanks to all at asked lounge!!!!! ????
