Excellent food, best stuffed clams I ever had, Eggplant grinder was fresh and awesome, highly recommended.
Picked up pizza to bring home, everything was great!
We love this restaurant. Creative drinks are made right the first time. Menu is simple but the food quality is wonderful. Pizza sauce and pasta sauce don't taste the same - my mom created different marinara sauces for each and it tastes like The Bar does, too. Always an enjoyable dinner, and the portions are big enough that we always have leftovers. Any time we've brought friends, they've agreed on all counts.
I thought the Pizza was very good. Perhaps a minute or two longer in the oven, but that's my personal preference. I was surprised at how big the pies were. I got two mediums and what came out looked more like a large or extra large. There certainly is good value in the food. We got a ton of good pizza for not very much money. The dining area (asides from the bar) could use a little updating but otherwise it was a cozy atmosphere. The staff was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly. We will certainly be going back. I would recommend giving it a try, you won't be disappointed.
Went there on a Monday with coworkers and there was only one waitress, she did an amazing job and I can’t remember her name but thank you so much for being social and attentive! The food and drinks were good! It sorta looks like a hole in the wall but the food was amazing especially the fried calamari! Definitely will be returning!

The staff was friendly and professional. The service was good. I got one slice of pizza and stopped in there because it said New Haven style pizza. If you want New Haven style pizza you have to go to New Haven. Everybody tries to imitate it but they never do a good job. This pizza was okay they had a very thin crust around the edges and the middle of it was sort of mushy. There wasn't much on the edge to be crispy like New Haven pizzas. You couldn't hold it with your hands and eat it without it all falling all over the place like New Haven pizza. The tomato sauce was not fresh like New Haven pizza. The mushrooms that they added to my slice were fresh and tasted good. But the sauce and the crust was not. I always like to patronize places that are local that have good pizza but I'm hard-pressed to call this good. Well I was eating it I was hungry but I was thinking that I should have gotten a frozen pizza from Stop & Shop it would have been better. To the owners and the staff I apologize that this is not the best review but maybe you can use it to improve your pizza and you will stay in business for a good long time because there's a lot of people in our area that like pizza. I will not lie and tell you that it was good when it wasn't. For the reasons that I mentioned above this is why it wasn't good. People in this area know good pizza and if your pizza isn't good they won't be back. They will try a new place once and maybe even twice but after that if your pizza isn't good they will not feel sorry for you.
On top of fabulous food, The Bar has a waitress named Erica that is the definition of fabulous! She is beyond accommodating and pays attention to all the details of ones dining experience. Bravo Erica ??
