Karen and her team were outstanding the day of our wedding as well as the time leading up to it! The quality of their food and service is unmatched and guests won't stop talking about how different and amazing it was. I would recommend the chocolate chip cookies- the best! Hiring SKBT was the best decision we could have made for our backyard wedding. Karen was such a pleasure to work with right from the beginning!! She really made the planning process easy and enjoyable- she was creative, thoughtful, and had wonderful suggestions about how to tailor our menu to be exactly what we wanted. From appetizers to dinner, every dish was perfectly made. She was able to acomodate both gluten free and vegan guests, and the quality and freshness of the food couldn't be beat. The staff were so personable, friendly and so thoughtful. I haven’t had people stop raving about their food and servers since! All aspects they brought to our wedding were above and beyond and truly made our day so magical! It was better than I ever could have imagined, and HIGHLY recommend them to everyone!! Thank you SKBT and team, for making our wedding day better than our dreams!!! I wish we could do it all over again!
My daughter chose them to cater her backyard wedding. I spoke and emailed with Karin, the owner. She was wonderful to work with. The food was nothing short of AMAZING. The wait staff for the party couldn't have been any nicer, efficient, and accommodating. I would use them again and highly recommend them.
We worked with Karen for my sisters baby shower in March - she was so awesome to work with and accommodating. The food and presentation was amazing! We will for sure be working with them in the future
Hiring SKBT was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding! I talked to Karen, the owner, and from our first conversation, she knew instinctively what I was looking for, and brought it to life beautifully on our wedding day. Mind you, I don't always know how to articulate what I want, but she was able to conjure exactly what I envisioned. Our guests are still raving about how perfectly cooked every bite was, from the appetizers to the desserts! My now-husband is also a vegetarian, and unlike many of the other caterers we talked to, this was not an obstacle for SKBT because Karen and her team have a very "can do" attitude. In fact, many of our dedicated carnivores were as impressed with the vegetarian options as the rest. Anything I asked for, SKBT did it! To top it off, I asked if they could serve pisco sour (a peruvian mixed drink) to celebrate my home country, and Karen didn't even think twice about doing it! It was so yummy, and even my super-picky peruvian family loved it. Karen was also great about communicating throughout the planning process.On top of all of this, when it came to the wedding day itself, SKBT were amazing when it came to the logistics. Setting up, and taking down the tables and table settings was quick and efficient, and their servers were attentive and always on the ball. The logistics were a major source of stress for us, but they turned out to be a total non-issue. Shout out to head chef Tess, and chef Jules, who made our breath taking wedding cake.I could go on and on, but I just mostly want to thank them for making our wedding day a DREAAAAAMMMMM :)! Thank you, guys! Will definitely recommend them to everyone and anyone!
Just because we are in the middle of a pandemic don’t think you can’t have a wedding or small gathering. We live in Huntington Beach, CA. We contacted Karen and explained our vision of a Bavarian Octoberfest themed wedding and reception! Karen and her staff nailed it! We do not have a enough great things to say! They ensured everyone was served all the while maintaining protocol with PPE and distancing. Right down to serving the kids grilled cheese! They made a Bavarian chocolate cake that was amazing and looked as if it came right out of Germany! The entire menu was delicious!
Karen catered our wedding of about 50 guests this summer and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Karen and her staff were extremely professional and pleasant. The food was beautifully presented and tasted even better. She made our wedding day very special and we feel lucky to have found her. We highly recommend her services and would definitely use her again.
We had individual boxed desserts for our baby girl shower and I was not disappointed at all! Thank you karen for not only the memorable/ elegant desserts but for your professionalism, follow ups and friendliness making it a great experience to work with. Highly recommend!
