Very disappointed. The burger was burnt, no flavor. Onion rings, no flavor and breading pretty much non existent. The only good thing here was the grilled onions lol the seafood was not good either. Everything here is pretty much frozen and they don’t wear gloves. Wipe their noses and touch everything without washing, gross. Overpriced for mediocre terrible food. The only I saw that looked remotely good was their hotdogs and that’s it. Never coming here again. I can not BELIEVE they do not believe in seasoning!
Nick's has been my favorite since I was a kid, now I bring my own kid there. The fried food is never oily and greasy, it's perfect. The lobster roll is massive and I love their steak sandwich. Open grilled burgers, dogs, etc. Amazing food and such friendly staff.
Haven't been able to go out and find a decent burger in awhile. Went here tonight perfect done just right. Sweet potato fries were done just right and right amount of crunch.
The lobster roll is amazing! It comes With a good amount of lobster and the bread is toasted! 10/10 recommend!!

Ok. My wife and I just moved here and love finding the perfect whole in the wall places to eat. I got the chili cheese foot long platter hot dog and she got the cheese burger with fried calamari.Pros: Hot dog was on point. The fries were perfectly cooked. Calamari cooked on pointCons: The onion rings and calamari, while cooked perfectly, are bland. the batter has no flavor. My wifes burger, when you first take a bite and start eating it taste really great.. and then the after taste hits and it was really bad. The "char" tasted like it was char from a few years ago.... like the grill wasn't cleaned.Results: we will use this place as our Hot Dog joint unless we find a better place.
A CT lobster roll (buttah babe, not mayo) and split an order of clam strips with my sister, accompanied by a large birch beer.The food is prepped right in front of the patrons and it was.. well, okay-ish.I've decided I'm not a fan of CT-style lobster rolls... gimme a Maine-style ie., lobster salad (no celery, please) on a grilled split-top, any day of the week.The clam strips were also okay-ish. But for a child of the '60s raised on HoJo clam strips, these seemed a little light, sort of more batter than clams. Tasted fine, but not great, kwim?All in all, I think next time I will go for their grilled cheeseburger. With onion. And mayo. ;-)
Right off 91 on exit 8. Great place for some foot long Hot Dogs. Can't go wrong with these. Reasonably priced. Also had some fries and onion rings both were great! I bet their other fried food is good too. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves a good hot dog and some fried food.
