Food was good with very large portions. Service was also very good
Our server was excellent. However there was a very long wait for our food >45 min from when we ordered
Drinks were great, service was excellent. We must have gone on a bad night based on the reviews. Party of 4 , portions were huge but nothing had any flavor! We had 2 appetizers, 3 specials and I ordered off the menu. No one was happy with their meal. Fried Calamari was undercooked, mussels had no flavor. Big disappointment after reading the reviews. Unfortunately we probably wont be going back.
La Lupa is not a pizza, chicken parm and meatball Italian-AMERICAN restaurant. It offers a nice array of classic and well-prepared authentic Italian dishes and many specials- featuring plenty of seafood-based entrees. The waitstaff was professional and friendly and the wine list extensive (but $34 and up..) The wine was carefully served and attentively poured. We appreciated white tablecloth service. Our party of 5 enjoyed our appetizers (eggplant rollettes were amazing), but our enjoyment of the entrees ($24 and up) was diminished by the portion size- HUGE- on oversized individual platters. Great for those who like leftovers, but a problem for diners who don't like leaving half or more of their meal untouched.
Such a delicious surprise! I had the best veal for many years. Fabulous cocktails! Elegant yet casual and comfortable atmosphere. Will absolutely go again!!
Meal was delicious and huge proportions! The sea bass was the best I have had. We enjoyed the leftovers at home
Excellent food - enormous portions! Only disappointment was the immense Caesar salad - definitely tasted like bottled dressing (which would be unforgivable at a restaurant like this). That being said, we will definitely return.
Food was good. If your looking for quantity over quality of food. Then this is the restaurant for you.
So unfortunate as Iâve always had a good dinner. My entree was supposed to be pork chop. I was brought out veal chop. Was told Iâd have to wait 30-40 minutes for the correct meal. I asked to take the veal for the pork at the pork price which should of been offered. It was all fat. So upset. Canât believe they served that.
