I liked the atmosphere of this establishment, tucked away in a small shopping mall in North Haven's modest center. The dining room was quiet and homelike without being frumpy or tacky. The introductory breadbasket is pretty usual at mid-level Italian establishments, but this one came with olives and warm, buttery garlic knots, a pleasant surprise. Being in a vegetarian mood I chose the eggplant Parmigiana, which was served piping hot from the broiler, thickly covered with melted cheese. Between this dish, a generous glass of wine, and nice servers my late dinner proceeded quite happily.
I don't recommend Bellini's to anyone, because I ordered pasta with meatballs, and the sauce tasted like it was drowned in lemon juice, or it had gone bad. Also, the penne pasta was very dry, and I don't think they salted the water when they made the pasta, because I would be able to tell the difference. The only good think on their menu was the fried calamari. The service was good, and the people were nice, but the food was the bad part. I even threw up an hour after, and all I had eaten was pasta and calamari. Like I said, I don't recommend Bellini's to ANYONE who is Italian, or is just hungry and wants to eat out.

As always, delicious! I went basically today, pasta bolognese. Salad was cold and crisp. And the garlic knots divine!
We had a catered lunch at Bellini's and it was amazing. We had a delicious appetizer of fried calamari and stuffed breads. For lunch, the chicken marsala was some of the best I've ever had. Very tender and delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. All in all it was an amazing meal.
Amazing food and incredible staff! They are always consistent in the quality and plating of their food, and their cocktails are phenomenal - especially the espresso martini!! Every waitress I’ve had here has been wonderful and knowledgeable of the menu, they do not disappoint!!!
Went for drinks and appetizers, the waitress was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the appetizer sampler which was delicious and just enough for the two of us.
I have never had a bad experience at Bellini’s the food is very good and the staff is always friendly! Definitely a good choice for dinner or a date night. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be coming back
Our go to restaurant for the area’s best Italian / American cuisine. Always consistent and delicious.Always great service with GINA and Joanne. My personal best dinner offering is their: Fruta Seca Salmon.The Dining room is spacious, but cozy and they have seating in their bar area. This restaurant easily beats other “high end” Italian restaurants in North Haven with taste and compromising prices. Great Value !
Food was ok at best. Wait staff is not. When I asked for parmesan cheese, the waitress took it from another customer's table (didn't ask them, just took it). Food was not worth the price paid. Took a long time to get our food, although the place was slow. This is my second (and last) time here. I wasn't impressed the first time (food took a long time then too, and the service was poor as well) but I thought I'd give them another chance before posting a review). I heard that this was a good place, but it sure didn't live up to the hype.
