I went to Bagelicious ll today and was waiting in there very long line , They proceeded to make and give out the orders to at least 5 people that came in behind me , as I grew more inpatient not receiving my small order after almost waiting 1/2 hour .. I asked for my money back, The owners Son looked for it and said my order was placed on the other side , as why such a small order would be placed in the drive through side is beyond me .. He said it’s here , so I took it and still was upset and said it should have been done before the other 5 people behind me that where long gone already .. When I was walking out the owners Son told me not to come back .. I went back inside and said I didn’t want there product anymore and wanting my money back he proceeded to argue with me and taking orders from people in line instead of refunding my money back , as I was waiting for my money the kid in the back came out and starting to argue with me to take the bagels they where done now and I was wasting my time waiting for my money back .. I advised I was waiting for my refund and he came out from the back to argue with me as I was waiting.. I will never go back there as the owners son was so mean and rude to a customer , who was waiting 1/2 hour and now longer for a refund .. I never had that customer service before from a business that counts on their customers for their income .. poor service and rude !!!!!!!!
good morrow kind sirs of connecticut. today my dear friend tried to show me that connecticut bagels are better than nyc bagels. so we took a nice drive to bagelicious. we decided on drive thru because as a new yorker i never drove thru bagels. however we were confused where we ordered. but no worries we found our way. there was a weird angry lady in a rusty car in front of us decreasing the vibes. when we tried to order the french toast bagels we were FEENING for, they said they were out which made me sad. i got an everything bagel with butter which ended up being pretty good but no new york bagel. now we are eating our bagels in front of the boujee gym nearby. 3/5 would recommend
Love this place. The customer service is also great in addition to the great food. Only reason why I gave it a 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the wait. I’ve waited over 30mins in the drive thru.However the food is always worth it so I don’t mind the wait.
Would have given them a 5 star if it wasn't for the drive thru. I have been here multiple times because the sandwiches are phenomenal, but the wait time is absurd! I've seen multiple cars leave this location due to the LONG drive thru wait times, Poor business and lost revenue. I'll admit I've left the line a couple times because I just couldn't wait 30 min for a sandwich.
Wait times are ridiculous to begin. I ordered a turkey bacon wrap for 7.99 on white wrap. When I got to the window , I waited 5 minutes before the guy with the beard opened the window. He asked me if I wanted a side . I'm like I'm all set , but does it come with one ?? He's like yea so why didn't you ask me when I ordered. He charged me more for what my wrap cost. Prices don't reflect the menu! Then when I went to eat my wrap it was gross. It was all put together sloppy. When I went to eat it , fell out of my wrap completely. The bacon was old , cold and had been very well done ! terrible ! I don't think I will returning back!
Come here all the time but today the indoors was closed due to shortage of workers and couldnt do drive due to the truck being to tall, no worries tho the owner personally took all our orders and had the ready nice and quick. Definitely the best spot around, thanks again for being so accommodating......C.Ward Electric
The food is always very good but I don’t understand a 30 min wait for 2 basic bagel sandwiches. Not to mention they have a dining room full of waiting customers and a drive through around the whole building that they are definitely not staffed for. Maybe close the drive thru until you can handle the customer flow.
Waited 45 minutes for 3 simple breakfast sandwiches. I asked an employee what’s taking long and she said she’s not sure the food is there and being worked up. 10 minutes later we were served cold eggs on a cold bagel. I was offered to have placed my sandwiches in the microwave. Ridiculous and unacceptable. Certainly never coming back nor recommending.
I always have a great experience coming here. The bagels are so delicious. I understand how crazy the lines can be but there’s only so much they can do when there’s a huge line. Just moved out of state and always make an attempt to come whenever I come visit new haven because it’s that good.
One of my all time favorite bagel places. Giving 2 stars because I’ve never actually been inside the building. Closing at 2 pm is so unconventional! I’ve been buying their bagels from the cafe next door for double the price ! Cheddar jalapeño is my favorite
