Great place to start your day dip your self in hot chocolate and whipped cream or be the generalist by ordering two eggs any style - They take care you with a very fast service and a warm smile
Went for my daughters 7th birthday and they all sang happy birthday to the request of my daughter. Our waitress Sarah H was great in getting this done. Great food and service. Again thank you to Sarah H. We will be back again.
Went there for lunch on a Saturday. The decor is nice. The place was very clean and the service was prompt and friendly. The food was so so however. The ingredients were fresh but everything tasted soft and mushy.
We went for St Patrick's Day. The corned Beef was not as tender as I would of liked. I had to ask for the Irish soda bread. Overall it was not terrible but definitely cost more money than it was worth
Hubby and I went to Athena II diner after worship today because we were hungry. Since I work not far from there, it was time to try it out. The only problem I found was that it was cold in there. Other than that, the food was great, the music being played was great (I found it funny that 10 teenagers were sitting directly under a speaker in the back of the diner and since they weren't listening to the music, they would have found it old and outdated anyway, lol). I will definitely want a return trip, and when I pass by on the bus to work, I will remember my meal fondly.
I ordered food for pick up as I do frequently from this place because I’ve never experienced any issues until today. I asked for a side salad instead of fries and was charged for the salad and given fries I did not want. I also ordered Buffalo chicken tenders and half of my tenders had Buffalo sauce and the other half was plain. This place has been around for years and never experienced any issues when dining in but I will never do take out again. If you are looking for a casual place for a quick bite this place is fine but I HIGHLY Recommend against ordering for takeout or delivery.
Server was good but I gave 1 star to food.Seems like Greek food but it’s not. On the menu says gyro but it’s actually frozen meat not even gyro. So if you want to go for breakfast or any other sandwiches can be good but there’s nothing to do with Greek food . Unfortunately
Went there yesterday with my adult kids. We waited forever and ever for service. We ordered eventually. Food was terrible. Ordered gyro which was terribly disappointing. Chicken souvlaki was truly awful. My son had a burger which was good. The waitress was beyond rude and inattentive. I won't be back.
Athena Diner II is a nice place to meet friends at. The service is prompt and the servers are friendly. The food is very good give them a try when you're in the area.
All the waiters were very attentive and friendly. I definitely recommend this place. Sadly they close at 11:00PM SUN-THURSDAY. FRI-SAT They close at 12:00AM
