Ordered take out and it was in edible the halibut with couscous was so dry and no taste . The chicken tenders for child were so well done and hard as a rock total waste of 35 dollars never again
We always enjoy eating at Wood-n-Tap. The menu selection is great and the food never disappoints. Great customer service too.
Wow..the steak chopped salad used to be amazing...just got it again..not only has the price gone up almost 5 dollars( ok everything has, I get it) but there is almost NO steak on the salad...for 18.99...there should be more than 2oz..and also it was ordered medium rare...it well done...no thanks could have orders a steak for that price.. disappointed
Food was hot and delicious . The drinks was on point. Had the salmon dinner with strawberry pineapple sangria ?. Would recommend this place .
We come here often. The food is always good. Our table was wobbly and our server, Victoria, sent someone over to wedge the table feet and fix a very irritating thing in any restaurant!! Thank you Victoria!However, they never seem to staff the bar with more than one bar tender. Getting drinks out fast is crucial to any restaurant.
Having called Wooden N Tap in Rocky Hill yesterday morning when they opened, I spoke with MaryLou and requested a reservation for 2 people that evening to celebrate National Margarita Day and discount drink pricing. She took the reservation, the phone call dropped and I called back where a different person answered and said that my reservation was not on the books. She proceeded to say that they were not taking reservations but if I arrived at 5:30pm there would be no problem getting in. When I arrived last night at 5:30pm I learned that there would be a half hour wait. I explained about calling for the reservation and the two young gentlemen at the door could have cared less. I put my name on the wait list but decided after a few minutes and because of their attitude that I cancelled the reservation and left. It is toobad that you have become a chain. When you took over the location on Sisson Avenue in Hartford, it was good. Now, it sucks!
Great place however their parking lot needs better lighting. I'm pretty sure that needs to be corrected by the landlord. Music, especially the base, was too loud for me. Food is good and it's clean.
Good food and appetizers, and the environment is nicely designed. The beer selection is great, though it's heavily biased toward higher ABV stuff served in 12oz glasses.
I have never been to this place, and I'm telling Everyone, this is my all-time new favorite place to eat! The wait time for a table, even during the holiday, was minimal. The wait staff was very professional and efficient, all while being personable and delivering top notch service. I wish I could remember the waitresses name because she was amazing. The food was not only delicious, it was exceedingly palatable to look upon and the aromas emanating from my plate just about made my jaw drop. It was definitely reasonably priced for the amount of food that you got. And I enjoyed the fact that, no matter what else any of the employees had to do, they made it seem like we were the only people in the restaurant and they had all the time in the world to give us whatever we needed. The attentiveness we received, was as remarkable as the food we were served! I was very very impressed. And I've already told everyone I know, Definitely check out this restaurant! You will Not be disappointed! Thank you guys so much for a wonderful night out.
Absolutely the best for everybody and everything. Plus all the bartenders and waitresses here are awesome.The food and service here is the true reason why come here each Thursday. My favorite items are the IPA'S and the tuna salad Tristan and Kaleb will make your visit a great decision. This place has it all, roomy, lots of tables and great food with specials and outdoor dining as well. I've visited other W.N.T locations but "Newington" is the BEST!
