This pizza is sooo good! I generally am not a thin crust fan, and honestly I wouldn't really call this "thin crust" like many of the other reviews. I prefer greek style and this definitely was thick enough for my liking!! So if you are like me don't be deterred!Not only was the pizza awesome, but they gave my wife a free slice of a random combo (we think it was steak and cheese) when she went in to pick up. We couldn't help but basically inhale the slice in the car before we drove home LOL.A great price for a large pizza with some weight to it! We got 1/2 Phoenix special 1/2 BBQ chicken.We hope Phoenix stays in Newington forever!
My new favorite Pizza restaurant. Love the handmade sauce and thin crust. I ordered 5 cheese and Beach Pizza. Place very clean and friendly.
Growing up in NY i had pizza exactly like this!! and it is DELICIOUS. i will get their pizza, hands down. They deserve people to try their pizza!! The workers are super nice,

I am Italian and I cook everything from scratch. This place is magnificent! I have not had pizza this good in 40 years outside of my homemade- this stands up to it ! They are exceptional and handed me a slice of their Sicilian cheese pizza while I waited- OMG- spectacular! Hands down best pizza in Town if not Connecticut. I will update my review when I try more yet you can not go wrong here I am sure!
Delicious pizza!! It is as good as it looks! I also got a Cobb salad, loaded with all the ingredients. They even took care to package the warm chicken separately. We will be back.
We tried their pizza today. Great thin crust pizza!!! The House Special is the best pizza we've had in CT without a doubt. Please try it. You will be amazed with the flavor. This will be the only spot we will be ordering pizza from in Newington.
I stopped by to check out Phoenix, and I was delighted to see they were similar to Georgio's, whose food we really enjoyed while they were in this location. Phoenix has a wide variety of slices displayed, and they all look and taste great! My favorite so far is the Buffalo Chicken. Nice big solid slices, reasonably priced, and good friendly people serving them. Moved up from the Bronx, so the wife and I have pizza issues -- we eat at very few pizza places here, but this is now one of our favorites. Give 'em a try!
Great thin crust pizza. Generous toppings, large sizes, including the slices. We tried the Hawaiian and the House Special and each were good in their own ways. The fresh mozz on the house was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of browning. The Mediterranean salad was fresh and large; the prefect side to the hot pizza. This will now be our "go-to" when we want to satisfy the pizza craving! Definitely recommend!
