Dough was not cooked all the way! Hail Cesar pizza was way too salty and i love salty thing and this was too much. Also ordered chicken wings that i didn’t get to try because they never gave it to me in my order. Poor overall rating for service and food.

We have ordered a lot of food here and it's always been great. But since the new owner took over things have changed... Great items have been pulled from the menu and the pizza is just okay now, overall looks and tastes worse, which is really upsetting because this place was one of the great brick oven pizzas in the area. Their house dressing is a weird thick almost gelatinous consistency. Very disappointing.
Woodfellas New London is top-notch and the best NewLo pizza in my tastebud's humble opinion. The Hughie's love salad is a great compliment and highly recommended as well. The restaurant is clean, the staff friendly and anyone that has visited Woodfellas in the Velvet Mill will be elated to have the nearly the same menu and food here in New London, which is awesome. There's also a few fan favorites from the old menu, like Matt's Pear, which I look forward to trying.
Ordered a couple pizzas and enjoyed a beer at the bar while waiting. Staff was great, and the pizza is the best. Will go back often!
Went to eat in. There was one couple at the bar and one sitting. There was one person waiting to pick up take out and one in front of us in line. We waited with the place basically empty for twenty minutes without being seated and then went to Tony D's because we couldn't get anyone to come to the host/hostess podium. When we left the person in front of us was still trying to get someone's attention. Tony D's was great
I went with my husband and daughter around 4:30 tonight. We were the only customers dining in. We sat down and waited for one of the 2 staff members to bring us menus. It never happened. Instead they walked around our table setting up other tables. We waited 15 minutes. No greeting. No eye contact. No menus. And we were literally the only guests there. How does that happen?! Needless to say we left. It was completely bizarre. Never in my life have I been completely ignored even when it was busy at a restaurant never mind being the only ones there.
Delicious pizza place in New London, CT. We had dinner on a Saturday night: service was a bit slow, but the food was delicious.
Had a great time. Sat at the bar. Very relaxed atmosphere. Food was amazing. I had a glass of wine and my fiance had a specialty cocktail. They served gluten free pizza which was perfect bc she is has a gluten intolerance and I had the white clay pizza which was awesome. We'll be back! Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating!
