I have been to this restaurant twice. The place was always packed with customers. It had an unique historical decor. Staff were friendly. We ordered three pizzas. They tasted great but they were salty. The calamari and chicken wings were tasty. Pizzas did required a half hour wait when you ordered them. I would return to this restaurant when I come back to New Haven.

Yorkside is always great! Stopped by for lunch with the kiddos got a small chicken tender plate that could have fed 2 adults (tasty chicken) I had the Sm greek salad that I could barely finish(really good salad) mom had a tuna melt with fries which was also really fresh and tasty. Needless to say we needed boxes upon leaving. The kind of leftovers that are worth reheating ! Thanks again Yorkside!
I'm more of a pasta person than a pizza person, and this place did not disappoint. I was visiting New Haven for work and just wandered until I found a place for dinner. So good. Very generous portions. Excellent!
Excellent Easy Coast pizza, salads and Italian desserts. Always stop here when coming to town.
Yorkside Pizza is, for me, the benchmark. It's Italian pizza made by Greeks: crispy, crunchy crust, a zesty and sharp tomato sauce, and high-quality toppings. There are other excellent pizzas out there, even just blocks from Yorkside. But if you want to know how pizza's supposed to taste, Yorkside is the only place to find out.
Peasant salad is amazing and so is the pizza. What a great atmosphere and fantastic and friendly service. Always a favorite!!!
Probably the most classic and non-pretentious Yale College haunt. The pizza is certainly not the best in New Haven, but the Greek specialties are great, the service is always friendly, and the beer is cheap.
The pizza was amazing! The service quite special. I have some food allergies, so lots of questions. The chef took the time to come out and speak directly with me!
