Daughter says she really liked it! Five out of five. The best tapioca pearls she’s had! She had the Thai milk.
They have great Boba tea here. However walking in as a first time customer or returning customer who hasn't been there in years, it's alot. Their menu is over whelming. Like 1,000 different style Boba teas. The staff doesn't do well explaining it and you can't help but feel rushed with people behind you. I made the mistake of just ordering quickly ...a $9 Boba mistake. It wasn't sweet like I wanted it and I asked for red beans because the pictures on the wall made it look good. Instead they just blended the red beans in the drink...made it taste like chunky salty pulp coming up the straw. I waited in line again to give a thoughtful order...I even grabbed some macaroons....very $$$ for a tiny cookie. I had been her years ago and I think this place is great for once and a while splurge. Looks like they serve noodle bowls for lunch now too...
Certain drinks suspiciously can only be brought in large or medium sizes. Even though woman, usually do a better job then men at serving, this place is opposite. I had a cold Jasmine tea with lemon and It tasted more like old grape fruit with a old orange and much more lemon then sugar. The woman there like to treat Western looking (White too) with haughty eyes instead of just doing their job. There's a great tea place at Whitney ave and Audobon St near salad shop much better in all categories. The service of the guy there is the only reason this isn't a 1 star review and decent tasting drinks.
Good tasting milk tea. Pretty averaged price for what you’re getting. I find their drinks on the sweeter side so I highly recommend going 30 % or 0% (depending on the toppings you get)
went with a friend and both of our drinks were soooo sweet. got a matcha and brown sugar milk tea. whale tea is not as sweet and actually really fresh. definitely prefer them as the quality is much better
I love visiting this place as a treat for the kiddos. Can't go wrong with the mango slush + popping boba combination. For anyone looking to try something new in downtown New Haven, it's worth a visit.
Loved the bubble tea here!
I've been coming here since 2018 with my now fiance and every time we pick up bubble tea here, we have never had an issue, if we did everyone makes mistakes but still by far the best bubble tea spot we ever came to.
Went here on a whim to get some boba cause I been to many places and never had a problem with the drinks they’ll give me. But this place was disappointing. I got a basic milk tea on one of the posters so my bf can try for the first time and it was not good. The flavor wasn’t there and the tapioca pearls were hard. I wouldn’t come back.
The macaroons are amazing and the lychee fruit tea with popping Boba is sooooo good!!! I loved everything!
