So I am hooked on this place. We have visited 3 times since July 4. Each time ordering different plates and our only flub was a panini and fries that came out a bit cold. Our server happily and apologetically replaced it with a perfectly cooked filet mignon panini and fries. Both hot and delicious as has been the case with everything we have tried. Highly recommend the Brussel Sprouts with the truffle honey and pancetta ahhh!!! sweet and salty, Brussels wepre roasted just right.
The restaurant was really nice, I went this Friday at 9pm. It wasn't too packed, they had the doors opened which with the loud dirt bikes didn't sound nice. The waitstaff and host at the door were a tad rude and barely smiled.I forgot my ID, and they have a no phone id policy that is great. So my boyfriend and friend could drink, i couldn't no biggie. Security who was standing by the door conventionally found his was ten minutes later standing on the side of our table the whole time we were there. If you ask someone not to drink, it's not hard to follow a rule. So how am I supposed to enjoy my meal with some man standing next to me? I was so excited for this place and will not be returning.Food was good fairly priced, and our server was a nice guy.
Drinks and food was bombbbb!!!! Cash, a$$, and lemongrass is the one w money in it, so delicious I could have a few of those QUICK! The smoke show is the one that has a dubbie lighted, it’s made of sage…a little on the spicy side for me! The food was a great-beet salad & lobster ravioli is what I had!!! Would highly recommend, also loved the staff working the rehearsal dinner party I was at on June 10th, the server was personable and quick. I wish I remembered her name, but she had some arm tattoos and was super friendly, thanks again!
Very good. Loved the small plates and drink selection. Went there after a show and service was winding down, but still good! Cheese curds, lamb and empanadas are repeats.
Very interesting venue. Small plates are delicious. Only problem is the seating at some of the tables…you would have to go to understand. They are stools attached that swing out from under the table. There’s no place to put your feet. So people who don’t have very long legs end up standing most of the time otherwise you will have a sore back by the end of your meal.
Very quaint and fun-filled environment. The staff were very welcoming and the food was a delight. Looking forward to another visit soon.
Great ambiance and really creative menu including cute and delicious specialty cocktails. Their list of small plates is long, and after many visits I have yet to find one I didn't like.
So the style or theme of the place is wonderful but the service is terrible when there’s a big crowd on the weekend. Long story short; make a reservation before walking in bc they will have you wait for an hour or so even if they know a reservation is not coming or didn’t show up. Smh! The Host with the pink hair is rude, emotionless, and have no kind bone in her body to address customers correctly & the manager was helpless.
Ricky was the most welcoming server I had in a long time. I’ve been here before and he recognized my partner and I. He greeted our guests so kindly and made sure our drinks and food were up to par. Strawberry margarita was to die for. Definitely will be coming back with more friends! Thanks Ricky!
I have been here multiple times and have had an awesome experience every time. This place is exactly what New Haven needed! I usually sit at the bar and have always had great great service. Tom has been my bartender multiple times and he is very attentive, makes awesome drinks, and overall improved my experience!The food is delicious as well. The menu states that they are small plates but the portions are perfect. Its a great place to split a few different plates with the group.
