Went here for the first time yesterday, and will definitely come back! Indonesian food is one of our favorite cuisines, and this place delivers that authenticity. The rendang was absolutely delicious!
What a gem of a restaurant!Fantastic and authentic Indonesian food.I highly recommend the Sate Ayam and Rendang. The bihun goreng is also delicious.The staff are also amazing, and they make you feel at home.

Was excited to try this place out. Unfortunately, it did not live up to expectation or the reviews I read here. The menu is overpriced, portions were modest, and the quality of the food was pretty mediocre. Was surprised that our entrees did not come with any rice.
This restaurant always leaves me speechless and fulfills my expectations. I have never had authentic Asian food like TOKA Asian Kitchen offers to its customers. The interior environment is super stylish and compliments the vibe of this place. The plates they serve on is super unique and authentic, it compliments the food so well. My personal favorite dishes are the chicken satay with a flavorful peanut sauce, rock shrimp, chicken gyoza. For entrees the Toka Curry is chefs kiss. I travel 1 hour and 30 minutes, and this is the dish that keeps me coming back for me. Chicken Katsu and all Noodle entrees are amazing. For dessert I highly recommend the Pisang Goreng.I love this place and will be returning all the time!
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Connecticut! They have the freshest, most flavorful dishes! My favorite dish is the chicken and broccoli, I also get the shrimp shumai which is absolutely delicious, rock shrimp, golden calamari, chicken curry, chicken satay( my fav) , and their chicken wings are a must. Great prices, friendly staff. LOVE this place!!
The staff here is super friendly. I never tried Sake before. They brought out a small sample of hot and cold to let me give it a try. The Toka Wings Chicken is out of this world. The only regret I have is not ordering more to bring home.
Relatively new restaurant. The owner is a very friendly person and made our dishes exactly the way we wanted. Food was not greasy and tasted very good. It's a very small place, so seating may not be easy. I'm not from New Haven, but would encourage people over there to definitely visit this place. You will feel like it's a family meal!
Amazing hosts and even better food
It was an amazing experience. The food was great and the people were friendly. It's It's great little spot that with exemplary service and amazing food. I'm gonna have to bring my family and possibly a date or two.
